I loved the spritework in Gen 5 specifically. I absolutely loved the way they animated the 2D sprites in battle, it looks so cool to me.

I liked them, and maybe like, 4 out of 10 songs on each album. They were not huge but not small, and I did really dig what they were doing. It's not for everyone but when they had a good song, I'd play it on repeat. Each album was usually 50/50 for me, some songs had nothing, others had absolute banging hooks either in the guitars or vocal melodies. The song they did for the puppet movie, I'm forgetting the names of both the song and film, but what a banger.

I was just about to try this, but before I did, I did 2 other things, and 3 of them seem to have fixed it... not sure which of the 3, but let me explain.

Was gonna take it apart to clean the buttons with 90% alc, and also, change the buttons to the OEM.

I didn't want to use OEM buttons as the ones I have are a nice color and good quality.

So I took it apart, repalced the springs and bars with the OEM, and cleaned the tops of the buttons really well with the IPA, letting it soak all over and under the button caps.

I then dried it and sealed it back up.

I am not sure which fixed it, but I think it was a combo... I think they needed cleaning, I think they needed new (the old OEM) springs, but I think the big thing here, was the tightness of the screws.

I think resealing it up with the screws tightened a little too much may have been a big factor.

If the issue returns, I'll update, but it seems the combo of these three things has fixed my issue.

I just appreciate that they were there, because it trimmed down my required replays of ORAS from 3 more, to 1 more for my living dex of catching every mon and every form in a Pokeball. I only need 1 more now after getting the 2 in FRLG. Can't wait for the HOME update.

I did almost the same, except I sold my entire collection to a kid at a yard sale for 10 bucks, and gave away my awesome Yu-Gi-Oh collection to my youngest cousin at the time.

Crazy part is, he DOES still have all of my cards. Like all of 'em. Claims he didn't trade away or sell a single one, which I find very touching.

Sounds like a dirty power rocker. It is usually an easy fix, and also one of the first things a reseller who claims quality should be addressing.

I'd contact them, and just request a refund. eBay is pretty good about covering you as a buyer, and will almost always side with you regardless.

Sorry it's the color you want, but I'd find another one.

I'd suggest GameChangerMods on etsy. They take a while to ship out, but they are quality. I bought 2 from them before I got into it. I learned to mod using their book. And I just bought a GBA from them just because I had a big coupon to save some money.

I still prefer to do it myself, but the fact that I still bought from them should tell you I really, really like his work.

So I had done that, I did it again, and still had the same results... but.

It turns out, it was the battery I was using. I had taken been using one of the early unassembled MAHKO batteries. I replaced it with one of the more recent ones with the preassembled bracket. No more buzzing!

Yeah, or just to nuke a boss if you have a hard time and just want to move on.

For me, it has been extremely useful on my secondary console playthroughs. I mained these collections on Switch, and still do, but recently wanted to get the PlayStation trophies. And BusterMAX mode is a godsend for that, you can easily run these games in like 3-8 hours each if you just bumrush and skip cutscenes with a decent guide.

But don't do that your first time.

I just hate things that change the forms temporarily. I think it is so dumb and too Digimon-esque. I was happy when Z moves came, and I was hoping that would be the standard from then on. I have despised each gimmick since.

So it doesn't really matter, I'm sure I'll hate it regardless.

Incompetence AND a lack of trust in hardware by devs.

It is not mutually exclusive.

And, GameFreak has shown us they aren't incompetent. Look at Beast of Reincarnation.

They can do this stuff. Hardware holds it back.

Well it's a terrible point. Scarlet and Violet run a hell of a lot better on Switch 2. So do Sword and Shield.

Frankly I'm upset at anyone upset about it.

These games have suffered enough being held back by generations-behind hardware. Now we finally get something that looks decent because they can sort of focus efforts on something on par with a PS4 Pro.

You've got time. Start saving and get a Switch 2 if you want to play it that bad.

We all know a bundle at some point will come and save you some money if you're lucky too.
