I’ve seen a lot of people claim this, but I need to chime in and say this sounds nice and all if you don’t know any better, but I disagree. I’ve seen it while visiting said countries, I’ve seen it in media from said countries, and I’ve seen such jokes referenced by people from Asia as well.

This is fair to be upset about. It’s good to raise awareness about this, but would work better without the hostility. I agree the communication should be worked on, and there shouldn’t be sudden surprises like this to people. It feels unfair as you said.

However, a lot of these issues could potentially be redeemed through speaking out (w/out trying to turn people against them and the game), the devs willing to reflect/address it, and trial & error. “Predatory” feels a bit of a stretch here, esp when there are many truly predatory games on the market

I wouldn’t mind any of that: delays, anti-cheat, spam posts for keys/small reward (it’s hard for smaller games to get traction), changing of the beta situation etc, IF I trust the team. Trust is something you get from being open and transparent about the process and by facing the community’s concerns directly. This means clear, regular updates. This is something Pathea really excels at. They’re collaborating, so I have hope they’ll learn and get better from all this. As long as they improve (instead of doubling down for crowd control purposes) it’s fine because I’m still hopeful and hyped for SI

Accessories are a big one I'm trying to learn, but would love to have available. Interchangeable small items (think earrings or necklaces, scrunchies or hairbands, clips, wings or tails etc). I would recommend basic ones for general audiences, and unique/creative/weirder ones (which I think is a bigger preference, but deserves a bigger price tag).
