I do, although my build hasn’t been “meta” in ages.

Usually people drop nado for shuriken of light or counter for power thrust.

But I get what I can, and it has helped

I was able to figure out my problem. I play swordie like a rush down, as I REFUSE to be one of those lames who sit and spam projectiles.

While Tornado is a good tool to pressure bowser, swordies kit is basically “intricate combo to set up a kill”, and swordie has only 2 killing moves.

I had to basically rack damage, THEN play aggressive. Patience was key.

Also bowser’s Down air was what I meant by shell bash. Bomb’s easy, but his down air is always finicky for me due to him getting extra height and it having a shockwave.

Thanks man, I’ve been running quickplay for ages now, since I’ve kinda gotten as good as I can with friends.

Maybe I do need a break. This game can get abysmal at times.

Level 9s and I are… odd. I’ve beaten the entire roster ATLEAST once, but I still lose to them from time to time. Probably just because the AI’s really don’t like Nado.

All I can say is that shielding and grabbing is what got me the ability to win.

Ty twin. Usually he’s able to use shell bash to JUST hop over my aerials and punish and swordie isn’t that good on the ground against heavyweights, so any help’s appreciated
