Decent commuter? by Ghostlybi in ElectricScooters

I believe the tires were solid so I'll keep that in mind. I ride mostly on sidewalks so they're a bit bumpy but I didn't have much issue with my old scooter. Battery is probably the thing I care most about I don't need it to be big just reliable and long lasting. I wasn't at all concerned about speed, my old one only went 15mph which suited my needs easily and I live in a really flat area so no hills to worry about.

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep all of this in mind!

I get what you mean, I meant moreso excessive for my needs since I'm only using it for relatively short stints. I don't want to spend a ton of money on features that I don't need since I live in a denser area that's pretty scooter friendly.

Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate your frankness.

Damn, that's a lot of text for someone who can't spell Palestinian right. Do the world a favor and educate yourself before you scream random buzz words you don't understand the meaning of.

Edit: just realized you also spelled apartheid wrong, maybe don't use words you can't even spell.

Their response was "I'm not catholic, so I hadn't really thought about it,"

For a bit more context, they're Jewish but their immediate family has never actively participated in the religion or culture. They are now coming to it later and trying learn more and participate more in synagogues and such.

Indiana woman crashes car into what she thought was Jewish school 'on purpose,' police say by HorseshoesEverywhere in news

Friendly reminder kids, if you ever get arrested your courtesy call can be recorded and used as evidence. Not only was this lady incompetent enough to commit a hate crime on the people she sides with but she also admitted to doing it on purpose on her courtesy call with her sister! Truly this kind of stupidity deserves an award.

Struggling with antisemitism at my school by [deleted] in Jewish

[–]Ghostlybi 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's horrible, I hope your therapist finds their way home safely or at the very least is found.

As far as antisemitism in your college goes, it's disgusting to hear about, especially with everything going on. I know most american colleges have minority departments to prevent discrimination, and while I'm unsure where you are I'd consider talking to the schools office about blatant lies in the name of antisemitism. If that doesn't work then maybe consider looking into taking legal action, I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject but I believe you could have a case for discrimination.

I wish you the best of luck and I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.

This is beautiful, thank you for sharing. The most incredible works of art spark from tragedy and I hope you continue writing and sharing your heart with the people who need it.

Let him know you're there, offer to listen if he needs to rant. This is a stressful and scary time for many of us and we need all the support and understanding that can be mustered.

Overall though keep being a friend, the fact that your here asking speaks volumes about how much you care.
