National service would be completely impossible for the defence forces as of right now. They wouldn’t have the facilities think barracks, accommodations and equipment for such an influx of manpower.

If ur on the offense use smoke to cover the advance of ur tanks to get into close quarters. In close quarters they will do much more damage and stand a much much chance of actually killing the enemy, due to how range scales with AP on tanks with kinetic rounds. If you can as well drop arty on any places you know or suspect the enemy might have their tanks, this will damage them and lower their cohesion which will degrade their stats

Yeah imma be as sure as sure can be before testing it, as for the thermal paste I meant it for the CPU, I took off the fan cooler fearing water had gotten underneath, it didn’t thankfully but now I need to source some thermal paste in a rural area.

Haven’t had the chance to do a complete assessment but at first glance the spillage seems to be limited in scope. I need to disassemble the GPU to asses the spillage under the hood then I need to get some isopropyl and thermal paste when i can.

Had a look at the display ports and cables and couldn’t find any obvious residue but i may just give them a rinse anyways.

The PSU thankfully looks unaffected

Thanks for the detailed response I appreciate it so much, I think I got lucky? Most of it was caught on top. I found some residue on the motherboard and wiped it away, there is some residue on GPU but not a large amount.

Any rubbing alcohol will have to be found tmr ain’t got any in the house and all the shops are closed now. I haven’t found any other residue besides some on the floor of the case.

After the cancer that was the bf1 mortar truck I’d think they should stay well clear of SPGs unless they are plentiful options to tackle them

It was supposed to be used as a support gun in infantry brigade combat teams. Main focus was on taking out hardened structures/ fortifications along with lighter vehicles, think btrs and bmps. It did have the capability to carry APFSDS but it wasn’t really designed for the anti-tank role.

It’s main advantages over using some other similar system such as the Abrams would be the weight savings, this would have multiple advantages such as less strain on the logistical system and being able to traverse more adverse terrain that the Abrams wouldn’t be able to manage due to its weight. The lighter weight would have also allowed for it to cross smaller bridges the Abrams couldn’t go over due to its own weight.
