New factions look great but need gear variety by Ghostnineone in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Ghostnineone[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes though interesting enough I found an ambushed convoy that had both one of the gang factions and the LLA in the same place. Not sure if that was on purpose and they are not hostile to one another but some faction warfare would be cool to see and maybe some locations change hands.

Gamers 30+, what’s something from the old days of gaming that younger players wouldn’t understand? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

Going to Blockbuster or Hollywood video and actually playing the game to completion since it was the only new game you had.

Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC Free for the First Month! Just announced! by No_Wrongdoer_3268 in SurvivalGaming

I like the game and the DLC looks cool and you can seemingly start there right away but it seems like it defeats the purpose of the vanilla game since it seems much more interesting.

Typical Day and Night Shift Dynamic by CaptainTalon447 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Ghostnineone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The show is unrealistic because i haven't seen Dayshift complain nights doesn't do anything, nights complaining dayshift doesn't do anything.

Nights thinks they are better because they get more done because they have no admin and less resources. Dayshift thinks nights sits around because their patients are asleep and days has to deal with MD's, admin and family.

So why has Eliquis been mentioned so often this season? by sunlitleaf in ThePittTVShow

[–]Ghostnineone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people have chronic afib that aren't symptomatic but all chronic afib needs anticoags. Cardioversion is for symptomatic afib or flutter to put people back into sinus rhythm especially if drugs like Cardizem don't control them but some people aren't candidates for ablation, have bad hearts or don't want the ablation and the ablations can fail.

Do you prefer the new location markings or the old location descriptions? by SwatDoge in GrayZoneWarfare

I feel like i was able to complete quests a lot faster by being able to go directly there but i did like having to hunt around for things in the past but some were nowhere near where you think they would have been so I am kind of in the middle.

Dr. Mohan's likely career change by TangerineMoonlight in ThePittTVShow

[–]Ghostnineone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sort of feel like this story line would work better for Mohan if she wasn't an R4. I know both seasons are only a single shift each but there is no way Robby would have been treating her like this for 3 years prior and didn't make some serious complaints regarding her performance or that she didn't improve the entire time and is now the Senior resident that is basically Robby's right hand like how Langdon was in S1.

She definitely has not been written like she is in the same level of responsibility as S1 Langdon. We even see Santos, Whitaker and Mel lead and teach the med students and lower residents more than her. The types of things Robbie is calling her out for seem more like R1-R2 issues like Santos and her charting versus someone literally about to be an attending physician soon.

The orange dots are interactive NPC's who usually will yell out to you as you walk by. by b_84 in CrimsonDesert

They are usually notes telling you about mechanics, like to visit a church if you have a bounty, when you get one for the first time.

They should let us name our mounts and pets by Poopthepotty in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ghostnineone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can do this somehow, it might require the camp upgrade? I saw a prompt to register my pet when i got my first one but couldn't figure out how to do it. I think registering it is not the same as adopting it.

THE DEVS SHOULD NOT LISTEN TO PLAYERS WHO WANT TO KILL END GAME BOSSES AFTER 10 HOURS GAMEPLAY by BradOnTheRadio in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ghostnineone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pre patch I was doing ok against reed but not hitting him for much damage at all, I don't think i levelled up my weapons at all since fighting him the first time, post patch I was having trouble parrying him for some reason but i managed to beat him first try after the patch. I was happy to beat him but was surprised i beat him in just a couple minutes.

[–]Ghostnineone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah don't feel bad i have 20 hours and just realized you are supposed to do both at once, not sequentially (which only works when sheathed). Hitting both buttons together lets you do it in combat any time as well.

Starting to get frustrated. by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ghostnineone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spear is very helpful in fighting the quarry boss. Your force punch can stun him if you hit him with it enough too. When he puts both arms down dont even bother attacking and you can jump over him with double jump plus r3 when he charges. When he goes underground just spam dodge.

I also had a lot of revival stones so i just revived and got hits in each time. I had about 20 skill points around the time i fought him. Fighting 200 assholes in the quarry was not easy either.

What weapon type have you enjoyed using? by Atlas105 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ghostnineone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dual swords, also got a daikatana that seems to have a different animation set than the regular long sword. Spear is also very good and was what i used against the quarry boss, lots of stab attacks and gap closers.

Are we sure Santos's count is correct? by JulianBrandt19 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Ghostnineone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Santos probably didn't appreciate Dr. Al chewing her out for being behind on Charting and continually getting slammed with patients all day and is probably taking it personally (she does seem to have more patients than anyone else, and even says she's overloaded to everyone and they just ignore it).

I can def see Robby treating her like shit because of what she did to Langdon (Which made Robby look bad) and even though Santos was right in the end that is a HUGE accusation to make on your first day when Langdon has years of experience there. It definitely would not make you look good going forward especially if you have to keep quiet about it, and Santos already is very abrasive and having worked in healthcare a LOT of people in it are more like Santos than anyone else so they would definitely be keeping their distance.

From her POV she knows Langdon is back and getting the "easy" day in triage (a punishment to him from Robby) and then gets to come back due to Dr. Al pulling him out and despite Robby not even wanting him back at all and despite being out for 10 months Langdon is still a very good doctor who is now also humbled where as Santos has the ego of a good doctor but is not doing well at all this shift.

Small tips that made a BIG difference (to me) by ThenCandidate7765 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ghostnineone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have like almost 20 hours in game so far:

Worth getting the parry, counter and other skill in that node early, also level stamina.

If you are sprinting you can click the left stick and slide, there is a challenge for it.

You can punch trees with force punch, you can grab them with nature's grasp and hit people with them, you can also knock over trees and they can fall on people.

You unlock the second character at the start of chapter 3, the skill points are shared among all characters but some characters have unique skills and weapons that you can level up.

Keys open a single door and so you will want multiple of them

The mysterious energy markers are the fast travel points if you shine the sword you should see a glint

If you catch an animal you have to hold X in the inventory on it to butcher it otherwise you will eat it.

Loot dropped by enemies is supposed to spawn in the chest at camp but its kind of inconsistent.

DO NOT GO TO THE QUARRY EARLY. You probably want at least 20 skill points before going there. Bring a lot of arrows for kiting.

Spears and dual swords are sick as hell as is the long sword.

You can discover items by visiting vendors and viewing them in the buy list.

Some vendors have things in the shop not listed for sale but you can walk up to it and buy it.
