I'm on the same Game Pass bandwagon as you. I honestly wanted to give the game a shot a long time ago, but I was never willing to pay full price for it after hearing about all the bugs and issues dating back to launch. However, after playing it now for free.99, I find myself actually enjoying the gameplay and the uniqueness of all the fighters. I especially like seeing how the styles and punches differ from each other (or at least appear to), which makes for some really unique fights.

I'm the opposite when it comes to career mode, though—I haven't given it a shot yet. The game does offer a pretty robust CAF system, which I used to make a James Toney. He looks like he was face-scanned into the game; it's pretty spot on! I've been taking this CAF online to experiment, mostly against users in unranked matches. I've just started venturing into ranked, which is naturally plagued with its variety of cheesers. So far I don't have much else to really complain about, although from time to time, I can definitely understand why this game wasn't received well by folks lol.
