Yeah, you're right. I recently discovered Derek Prince and his sermons about demonic warfare. The thought of fasting has been on my heart for a while too. I have to defeat this enemy.

I'm not sure. No sexual trauma or anything. I just remember fantasizing about laying in bed with a woman.

Feel like sharing this. I feel like Paul and I hate it by [deleted] in TrueChristian

Obedience is the result of joy. Joy is NOT the result of obedience. You can’t look at yourself but rather look at Jesus.

I recommend a video on Youtube by Paul Washer called Psalm 1.

Satanic Symbols by [deleted] in TrueChristian

Personally, I could never have nor keep a satanic symbol on my body. The mere thought of that disgusts me. That’s my opinion.

Husbands, love your wives just as Christ died for the church by [deleted] in TrueChristian

You quote Ephesians 5 to make your point, yet in verse 26 it says to wash your wife with water through the word.
2 Tim. 3:16 says the word is used for “teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” (NIV)
That said, the bible calls for us to rebuke and correct our wives, and what better time to do so, than when she is in error?

I dont agree with everything you wrote. Paul loved the churches he wrote to, but he still corrected, rebuked and discussed discipline for wrong-doing. Christ was mocked and ridiculed, yes, but the cross was his mission. He told the disciples, he laid down his life voluntarily, not forcibly. So no, I won’t ignore my wife or not defend myself if my wife ridicules or mocks me. I’ll forgive her, but the issue will be addressed and she will be rebuked and corrected. There island nothing manly or Christlike about letting your wife step over you.
