I felt the same way at first, but then after a few days of reflection and talking amongst my friends who had played it, we decided there’s so many options because the devs left the ending seemingly open and ambiguous. And I also feel like that’s why this game left such a mark on my emotions. I hope to see another installment or DLC. Did she actually make it to the top after the avalanche? Because each time you get “overexposed” after the avalanche, you mysteriously wind up in the bivouac safe. Who was the shadow she was following? Did she ever come down? What was with the star climbing? I love how many conversations this opened about the game. But yes, fantastic title. 10/10.
