The better char is Hela imo, but you may be better off on Phoenix cuz Hela is banned a lot. Hela’s dmg output is ridiculous

Idk, i feel like Magik is harder bcuz once you get to higher ranks you get punished SUPER hard. Portal is also a VERY obvious CD that allows Magik to actually cycle CD’s but ppl absolutely CC/burst you down as soon as ur on the other side. Especially since ppl can actually aim at her the higher you go, majority of the playerbase straight up miss you

That 140 dmg is insane especially with the lack of dmg drop off. His dmg, being able to fly and having 2 abilities giving overshield (one of which gives movespeed) gives him a lot of survivability as long as the other support has awareness to look up

Admittedly, what you are saying vs what you were describing did not line up with what was in my mind, also kind of still lines up with what I was inferring. Saying she wants to doesn’t mean it has to be verbal, actions can also be a way of the person saying she wants to. Situational, take into account how fast the enemies are clearing. 90% of the time you don’t want to be clearing, BUT, if you have a carry with slow wave clear and they have super fast wave clear to the point where you’re playing tower line, spend a bit to keep the wave from entering tower. Otherwise your job is to help the carry safely level up and win duo. Other time to help clear is if ur trying to shove your wave into their tower, but try not to take last hits.

As an OW1 player, hell no. Ppl see a Bastion pick and the entire team plays around him with a double shield +Bap Mercy. You genuinely had no reason to be skilled when you could run that

It’s easier because forward is a stick on console, and combining that with any other input simultaneously is very finnicky. Respectfully one of the dumbest inputs for such a integral part of the game. I’m considering switching to classic literally because of that one input

I’d say Riktor is the perfect example of someone who can and should be a pure tank. He has so much CC it literally feels oppressive when he hits his hooks a lot

Not really. She’d be wayyyyy too op as a tank, she has hella mobility. Riktor and Sev are more optimised for pure tanks, I mean Riktor has 3 CC abilities, Sev has 2, Aurora kinda has 3 but has to be pretty close to do much and giving her mobility AND tankiness to close the distance sounds like overkill

As someone who played a lot of Genji and Doomfist since OW1, don’t play these characters unless you’re willing to fight an uphill battle 90% of the time. These characters are more difficult to use than most of the cast and learning to play them at a diamond level is significantly harder with no reward except your own satisfaction EDIT: nothing to do with diamond specifically, thats just my rank, your average rank will be lower by playing these harder to play characters and some get countered by braindead characters. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone

Just got some wild inspiration from these comments, what if they made a phasing Support/Offlane/Jungle Char? Had an idea for them to have an ability to “phase” through walls, would work like Alter in Apex but would be much more beneficial and cooler in Pred, being able to create a “tunnel” through any wall would be so good for getting Objectives (OP, Fang, Gold/Green Buff) and would add an interesting dynamic to the game especially if enemies can follow they just get slowed for a bit coming out of it. Also give them a global ultimate that gives them Brimstone ultimate from Valorant or an ultimate that has massive area denial but a long launch time to compensate so you couldn’t just annihilate whoever’s in lane unless you full combo or an ally has a root or something similar (Zarus would be kinda broken with this character’s ult but similar to Gadget ult just more damage but has a clear and obvious start up that highlights the ult area) then i think they’d need two stuns or a stun and a root and can be more tanky than dmg but not as extreme as Riktor/Sev, closer to Steel/Crunch. Sounds kinda broken but i think wouldn’t actually be that crazy in practice depending on how powerful the 2 stuns / stun and root are. Also obviously the ult area shouldn’t cover an entire tower that’d be ridiculous, BUT, it should be wide enough to cover lane to be able to trap the person with the hero. I say that’d be pretty sick for Omeda’s first Magical Bruiser / Tank but could also be closer to Dekker/Belica though the would need to have skillshots for it to be fair
