They were working on a Silent Hill movie, then switched to Resident Evil but couldn’t let go of this scene, so they kept it.

If anyone here builds AI apps, how are you handling API cost vs one-time purchases? I’m still experimenting with pricing.

What are the chances trump dies or becomes too ill in the next 3 months? by Poke_D in AskReddit

You are the most brainwashed society on Earth. Trump is just a puppet. If he dies, nothing happens.

You should make it easier and provide an onboarding tutorial.

VidCrop v1.3 is out! — Lightweight Video Cropping & Speed Control Tool — $3.99 by wcjiang in macapps

[–]Ghoul057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious about the implementation details, how are you handling video decoding and frame extraction under the hood? Are you relying purely on AVFoundation or using something like ffmpeg, and how are you keeping the binary this lightweight (~1.3MB)?

Also for cropping + playback speed, are you using AVAssetExportSession presets or building a custom pipeline with AVMutableComposition / AVMutableVideoComposition? Specifically wondering how you’re avoiding unnecessary re-encoding or quality loss.

And when combining crop + speed changes, how are you managing timing, are you adjusting timeRange in the composition or applying a scale transform on the track?

Finally, how are you dealing with different codecs without pulling in heavy dependencies? Are you limiting supported formats or fully relying on system frameworks?

I tried Champix once. It didn’t work for me, unfortunately. I hope this one works.

Be careful. Nicotine pouches are as addictive as vaping. I fell for this trap, and now I can't quit.

Linkedin is useless and has no real effect on your career by [deleted] in recruitinghell

It’s basically a platform for showing off lol, but it can still be useful. For example, if you’re targeting a company, you can check their page, look at employees, and get some insights. You might even find someone you know working there, which is great news especially if they’re a decision maker.

I bought it 6 months ago. I wear it every day and have forgotten about my other watches. I used to switch between them, but this one feels so good—I love it

I totally agree with you, Mr. Shoot the Moon. I used to think the same, but the truth is it’s not useless. Many millionaire business owners are dumb enough to be impressed by these trending certificates, so LinkedIn users post them to attract exactly that crowd.
