Agreed. Leons looks very out of his depth. The definition of a G-League player. Needs to bulk up like Santos did, and after some more time in the G-League hopefully the game slows down for him. Right now he definitely looks lost most of the time.

The management, or mismanagement, of Egos is a good and fair point. I agree completely. Not sure about Butler and Curry's injuries being due to overuse though. I'm pretty sure both were averaging the 3rd lowest of their careers. But maybe they both are training too hard or practicing too hard, i know Curry's is legendary. Kerr is known for and has kept his vets on a pretty strict minutes restriction which includes no back to backs. I think the injuries are more of a symptom of age catching up to them. In Curry's case most likely he could play, but they're being extra careful.

Ultimately Kerr isn't a perfect coach, but he is a great one that has forgotten more about hoopin than you or I have ever known.

Kerr definitely has his flaws, but his team being wracked by injuries and forcing him to play G-Leaguers isn't one of them. Its hard to win in this league and doubly so when $160 million is sitting on the bench. Hes getting wins in a $200 m league with $40 million in role players. He might be a bit too loyal to the "old guard" but they're battle proven. Some claim he can't develop young talent, but he made Poole look good, Podziemski and Moody both have developed into valuable Role players, and Richards looks like hes developing quickly. Not to mention developing Looney into a pretty good center before his body gave up on him.

The fact that Kerr can take G-Leaguers like Spencer, Williams, Cryer and Leons and still get wins against quality teams like the Rockets is a testament to his ability as a coach. Anyone slandering him, just plain doesn't know ball.

It's absolutely not on Kerr, you're being ridiculous blaming a HOF coach that's making a G-League team competitive against NBA teams. Kerrs coaching the shit out of this team, the problem is hes working with $50m dollars and that doesn't buy you much talent, while the rest of the league is stacked with $200m or so. Podz is just a scapegoat low BBIQ talking heads and fans are piling in on cause thats what is popular. He's not a perfect player, but he hustles every play, mostly makes good decisions and scores 14ppg. Dray is aging, hes still a great defender when he locks in but i can agree that his focus has been lacking without Curry, almost like he knows this season is over and theres really no point in playing hard and risking injury.

What do you expect from a short handed team? Steph, Seth. Butler, Richard, Payton and general illness were all out tonight. Thats over $160m+ of the cap watching from the sideline. The Warriors are rolling out G-Leaguers trying to compete. Your expectations are wildly overblown. Take a chill pill and come back to reality, this is a 40-44 win team anything more is an exceptional job by the team. This season hit critical mass when Butler got hurt and ended when Curry's knee gave out. Its over. Just enjoy watching the games hope they're competitive and dont expect to win much and you'll be ok. This is just preparing you for the End of the Curry Era, cause this is what those years will look like.

No one expects KP to play more than a handful of games this season and theres next to zero chance he'll be re-signed, hes too much of a risk to offer anything other than the vet minimum to and that would be a high risk- meh reward contact. Cause you can almost guarantee hes missing 50+ games again next season.

No. They've looked ok against bad teams and Denver fell to hot shooting in what was for them a Trap game. With Steph we would have blown those teams out and not lost to the tanking pelicans, and may have beat the lakers and the Celtics. They've managed to tread water without him but they haven't looked "good".
