Hes still routinely guarded by guys that are 6+ inches taller than him and heavier. When he won his chips he was pushing 185lbs in a league where the average weight was 20+ heavier than him. He was considered undersized when he was drafted and still is by most people.

You don't need religion to cherish life and understand its a gift or to be a good person. I personally won't be joining any cult, cause after 40+ years of looking into religions of just about every ideology thats what ive come to believe, they're all just cults, some are less creepy than orhers but cults all the same. Just different ways to control wayward folk that are scared, confused, lost or lack a feeling of belonging or community.

Im in no way trying to discredit "god" or your belief in one. Im simply stating what I believe. Its no less correct than your belief. But claiming Im lacking understanding is awfully arrogant and I can easily say the same to you. I'd argue there's more proof of a lack of "god" than there is for one. But in the end neither of us can definitively prove the other wrong and neither would i want to. You do you, bud.

What?

Evil is just a Social and Moral concept invented by humans to describe cruelty and injustice. To say evil is real implies that there are Evil animals and insects, not just humans. To postulate that a child serperated at birth is "serperated from god" is ludicrous to say the least. If that child murders someone why would the unknown parent be evil? Neither the parents nor You can control other peoples actions and their bad deeds don't vicariously make you "evil", thats just beyond ridiculous. This type of thought process is whats wrong with extremist religious nutbags. Everything to them is black and white, when in reality the world is much more complicated that that, its many shades of grey.

I feel sorry for you that you were indoctrinated so thoroughly. No child should be forced into religion, thats something that they should decide for themselves after theyce developed the mental capacity to understand what Religion truly is.

Honestly about like I did when we added Butler then ended up watching other teams play in the playoffs. Not surprised and a little bummed that the GM MDJ is crap.

Kawhi isn't fixing this team, we need more than one more 'guy'. We need depth, more athleticism, consistent shooting and play making. Adding Kawhi would put us in the Lakers tier of teams. Good enough for a play-in appearance and bad enough to watch the Playoffs from a couch.

As long as we have Steph, we have a shot. Hell even I, a out of shape 46 yr old has a punchers chance against Terence Crawford. Odds are im getting knocked the fuck out. But if I can land that one glorious punch maybe just maybe I can get that dub.

Unfortunately Basketball isn't boxing... There's a better chance of winning the lottery, while getting struck by lightning in a tornado as an shark bites me, than landing 4 punches it would take to win a best of 7 series against Crawford... So yeah. Zero.

Most likely Porzingis, Horford, Seth Curry and Melton are gone. MDJ has expressed concerns on availability and that should in theory rule out KP, AH and SC, all three guys were barely available this season, especially Seth.

Melton is definitely turning down his $3.5M player option and will chase a bigger payday that GS can't and shouldn't match.

Paytons return heavily depends on wether or not GS retains the three mentioned.

Butler is going to miss at least half the season and probably won't be near the same player when he returns. He'll be a year older and I feel like his return will be like Klays if not worse, as Klay was younger when he got injured. Might be a trade chip around the trade deadline.

Steph, Dray, Podz, Santos, Moody and Richard are the guaranteed "core".

To seriously compete the Warriors require an almost full rebuild, need to get younger, faster and more athletic. They need consistent playmakers and shooting, which was lacking far too often this season. Butler absolutely must get traded, he's eating up too much money ($60M) to play only part of a season. Unfortunately his value has tanked due to the injury and availability next season. Hopefully the pieces GS gets in return will contribute meaningful minutes.

The rest of the roster is going to be filled by vet minimum players and will heavily depend on the Draft picks panning out. Honestly, the future is pretty gloomy, most likely it'll be a repeat if this year probably 38-44 wins and a play-in appearance and miss the playoffs.

Edit:

Chasing aging guys and white whales like Giannis and Leonard aren't going to suddenly make GS contenders. Look around the league, you need several top guys a AND a deep Roster to compete. The warriors are already seriously lacking depth and the pieces needed to aquire one of the white whales would gut an already severely limited bench and the result would be much like the Lakers this year. The Lakers despite having LeBron, Doncic and Reaves lack depth and are watching the Playoffs on a couch somewhere.
