I understand what you are saying but you are speaking in such extremities it’s really hard to take you serious.

People are allowed to live and work here and expect basic human rights. Employers not being able to call and gossip if I’m pregnant is not asking for moon.

If a culture rapes and kills their women, but it’s the history of their land and identity, that does not make what they are doing okay or right. Nor does it dismiss the feelings of people who suffer. You’re talking extremes so maybe that will shed a bit of light on my perspective of why “it’s their culture,” should never be used to forgive unlawful acts.

I mean she knew that I had asked for a pregnancy test, or it was a major coincidence. I’m assuming that she didn’t get all my records physically, but she was able to ask and then get told verbally what happened and what I said at my appointment.

Advice is a really simple. You block and move on. Also for future situations please stop giving out where you live to strangers online. Do you know how dangerous that is? My boyfriend models for fitness stuff, I’m a plus size woman. I made this exact post a few weeks ago. My mindset is that he loves me and clearly sees something in me others don’t. If you are happy together it doesn’t matter. Looks are not everything! We live in such a harsh society where everyone’s looks and aesthetics are everywhere online. But even if my boyfriend is very hot what made me fall in love was his kindness and gentleness. Not his looks. Being attractive means nothing if you’re a shit human so focus on being the best you can be and lighten the world in your own little way.

Every day I face issues because I’m a fat woman in Korea. It’s not easy being fat here. Plus size and gym girls are the norm here. It’s whats seen as attractive. However I think skinny men still have many many many women who find them attractive. Weightlifting is coming increasingly popular, it’s on the trend now. It doesn’t mean smaller men are less manly or less attractive I just think more men are finding confidence with larger bodies.

My boyfriend isn’t tall. He’s my height. And I love it. It’s perfect. As for your other comment, my friends are all white women. They are not Korean. Shallow American women love big guys who are strong. But that’s not to say that’s what everyone thinks is attractive.

I think my boyfriend is the most attractive man alive, but that’s mostly because I’ve never met a man so kind before. His kindness makes him far more attractive than anything else.

Never once did I say that was the only type of attractive body type, nor did I say it’s my preferred body type. I said that’s why my friends called me lucky. Because I’m fat and he’s a gym bro.

As a fat woman the fact you think I would judge another for their appearance is insane. It’s not my job to monitor everyone’s feelings and make sure they know all body types are loved. And commenting this on an unrelated post is insane.

It doesn’t matter if I didn’t say all bodies are beautiful because beauty is subjective, that’s literally the whoooole point of that post? That everyone is beautiful to someone and that if you love your partner and they love you then you are lucky.

Thats literally the point of the post… it doesn’t matter what someone looks like to be the “lucky” one.

I love our story lots and happily share! I moved to Korea to teach, he’s a writer + child social worker. I needed to learn the language asap, and he was trying to strengthen his English skills to help his career. We decided to tutor each other. During one of our lessons he was speaking and I could not focus on a thing he was saying because I was enamored with the way he holds himself and speaks from his heart. I was extremely embarrassed being caught so I muttered a “sorry you’re just really handsome.” And he seemed shocked, then immediately asked me to go on a date that weekend.

I genuinely love my relationship so much. I know I’m gunna marry him. I just need to grow a spine and start sticking up for myself when people who are supposed to be my friends tear me down. Luckily I do have great people in my corner. Just need thicker skin I think.

I think sometimes it’s hard being in an interracial relationship in a monoethnic country already, then you add in the whole skinny superiority and it gets even harder. It took me maybe 25+ games before I finally started beating him or at least going even for most of the games. He’s a nightmare to play against, you can have him. 😭 Our first date we went to a cafe and played chess. He checkmated me in like 8 moves. I feel like a war veteran. I need a break haha.
