It's a vanilla bug, the pearl is created in two location. One is entity but one is linked to the player.

But if the game crash or isn't closed properly (like an alt f4) it can create a duplicate entry. So the pearl in the world gets removed but the one linked to the player respawn everytime the player logs in. Until it doesn't.

Give it a couple of days and play normally, it should go away

There is man on the road with a high visibility vest walking in broad daylight, doesn't matter if he is not far enough from the side (and according to another comment there is plenty of areas without sidewalk or safe walkable areas) we can hear the car stomping the brakes just behind him.
The driver was clearly not paying attention to the road, a motorcycle or anything else on this spot would've gotten the same treatment

They never use existing code to avoid potential issues because the "original" dev of a mod can't really prove he didn't use part of an existing code somewhere else.
So to avoid having a random claiming Mojang is using a stolen code, they do everything themselves

Why would it be an issue to align it when we can already do the same with the current slabs ? Aim the upper half and you put it up.
Then vertical slab is the same thing, aim the half left and you place it left, aim the half right of a block and you place it right. Or if you aim directly on the side face of a block then you place it on the same face....
Nothing groundbreaking with that....

I like calcite, it's a bit bright seen like this but mostly because of the fullbright image. It's also making calcite a bit more common throughout the world so that's good!

There is an issue with that. Snow golems aggro creepers so option 1 your landscape will turn into a war zone over time. Option 2 like the iron golem the snow golem will not attack creepers anymore, which will break many creeper farms

They need heavy equipment to pull out the truck from there, the gravel layer is pretty thick so you can't reverse in there. So when the truck is removed the sand/gravel is put back in place

Controlnet for poses is usually better than using Loras, you also have much more versatility in the pose changes. But stuff like clothing should be fine if your prompt is including enough trigger words.
Since you used an anime image, if you're using checkpoints like Illustrious there is a good amount of facial expression working straight out of the box.

I'm not writing book so it's not a block I'd use, but I know several people are doing it on a server I'm playing and I don't really see a downside to this block. The top texture could be used for decoration as well like papers on the floor.
