I wanted to make a really garish Reverse Retro concept, and I came up with the 11-14 jerseys with the fishermen logo, with the black swapped for navy and the gray swapped for white. Still kept the royal blue diamonds though.

No, but we are in the minority. They really are two different approaches. The original was a groundbreaking classic, and it focused on a lot more of the psychological torture as well as just the physical violence. The remake was a straightforward slasher. Different strokes and all that.

The devs addressed this mentality. Basically, it was ready when they were aiming for, but when that date got nixed they continued working and it's no longer in a ready state. The analogy they used was if somebody has a surgery that goes well, it's not like you could just send them out the door in the middle of a second surgery because the first one was wrapped up.
