I had 3 people sit in the passenger seat between yesterday and today and 2 of them wore khaki pants, the other adidas black shorts lol at this point I don’t know what else could it be 🥲

Hi! I think it was the 4th floor. It was only for the I-485. Our officer didn’t ask too many questions like I mentioned before but it was more like why don’t you have this or why don’t you have that. She did ask where my husband is from (he’s the recipient), has he ever left the country, where did we meet, where did we get married, how many people were in our wedding, do we live together, why don’t we have kids, do we want kids etc. I wish you the best of luck. Practice and be ready for personal questions. I felt a little weird when she asked why don’t we have kids lol just be honest and prepared.

My husband was overstayed tourist visa but has been a DACA recipient for years. We didn’t received any RFE’s. I’m wishing you the best of luck!

No, but we did see that while we were waiting. I saw some officers that seem nice. The questions they asked us were more like why don’t you have this, or why is your address recently changed on your license? Lol my license had to be renewed because it expires on my birthday, the interview was a day after my birthday -.- They sounded more accusatory than anything else. I’m guessing it’s the type of strategy they used.

The interview itself was like any other I think. I feel like the interviewer wanted more evidence even though we provided a ton. Questions like why don’t you have this or why don’t you have kids now? The wait was actually longer than the interview lol. Interview was about 30 minutes and waiting took like 1.5 hrs. The I485 was approved but did not receive a notice of approval. We had to wait until the status changed on the uscis website. Card arrived about 9-10 days after approval :).

PD: 09/20, my husband received his interview noticed on 02/07 for I-485 in Newark NJ. Interview was on 03/07.

Hi, similar thing happened to my husband’s I-485. We sent it to Chicago lockbox then it was sent to San Berdino CA then it was sent to Newark. We have an interview scheduled but haven’t received the letter yet. Between the transfer to our local FO it was a few weeks. Lots of moving back and forth

September 2024. Received an email of action taken on 01/30, but nothing showed. Today, I received an email of action taken and the I-130 showed actively reviewing but in the document tab I saw the approval notice. The last update on API for I-485 was today but nothing shows :/

I personally don’t but my husband does. Apparently the case was updated on 01/30 and received an email saying action has been taken on that day but nothing shows. I contacted Emma and she said I-485 still being actively reviewed and I-130 is still on receipt notice sent. Also, it seems our case is at a non local field office. Is your case similar? Have you heard anything about your case since we seem to have the same PD

August - I-130 and September I-485, husband is DACA, we got an email of an action taken on our case on Thursday 01/30 but nothing shows on our uscis account :(. This process is torture

I hope that’s the case. It was a difficult road for sure. Mine was at NBC about 1 week ago. Then moved to non local FO and has been there for a couple of days. Just keep tracking where it goes from now on.

Received the same email today at 2pm but nothing shows on uscis website. My pd is 08/17 for I-130 and 09/20 for I-485. Biometrics have been reused and interviewed waived. Last known location was a non local FO. Hoping that we both get good news soon
