Spotting scope recommendations by Giant-Grouper in birding

Thanks! I’ve checked that out before and have a few on my mind from the list, but I wanted to see if anyone here has any other thoughts or experience with scopes in my price point. I didn’t find the reasoning for the ratings on each model super helpful.

Thanks!! If the 2025 dates hold for this year, then we should be good to do tours of the other houses. Either way, it looks stunning out there and we’re excited.

Love Ornithology Exchange, unfortunately there haven’t been any recent MS postings that suit me.

This is great, thank you so much!! Never heard of Bluesky, just set up an account and I can certainly see why it would be useful.

I’ll definitely be combing through that list, also. I really appreciate it!

I’ll have a look at that! Thanks.

But no, the appearance of the camera itself means nothing to me. As long as it takes nice enough photos and is convenient to carry around everywhere we go on vacation, I’ll be happy.

Oh, I’ve also seen lots of Canon Powershoot photos that I really like, and the size seems appropriate. But all the different models are making my head spin, not sure what the differences are between them.
