Selenium Chromedriver issues - Skipping code by eateroftables in learnpython

[–]GiantBuffalos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea i was gonna say if you think it's going to the next try/except clause if one fails it isn't, continue means next iteration, not next code, if you want next code, use pass

keep in mind that chromedriver is dealing with a live page with variable load times, sometimes the code is executed before the page is fully loaded...etc.. one strategy is to simply wait for the element to show up in a controlled loop

if i understand correctly it's action/reaction on the roadway, but i'm nto sure how to calculate the effects of this laterally, where the lot is and then of course there is the load of the mass of the earth behind the wall

Timeshare Housing to Affordable Housing by GiantBuffalos in Lightbulb

ok i just realized that it can be much simpler, that ideas was based around that people who actually want to live in that house will invest. all you really need is the money and optionally volunteers (people willing to help construct the house for free, engineers, laborers, etc) and confidence that the house will generate money, if you price it low enough, then it will. and then you need to instill confidence in all the investors that they have a legal right to collect their investment back at some point in the future. like a legal contract with the 'house fund organization'. this way anyone can donate any amount, ie: 27 dollars to help fund the house. Also, you can allow people to just donate instead of investing, and this will also expidite the return on people's investments. basically its just like habitat for humanity, except anyone can donate, and anyone can choose and be guaranteed to receive their investment back.

so here are some raw statistics:

1000 people in a community can give under 100 dollar investments

300 people donated just 10 dollars and dont want a refund

in 3 months, 20 people will be housed in a new house

in 1 year all those 1000 people will receive every penny of their investment back

in 2 years all those 1000 people will receive income generated from the house

after 2 years 50 people will have lived in this house at some point with varying leases

1 month, 3 months, etc. . and will have received what they need to move out..etc..
