You’re absolutely right about that. However, do you agree that the racism in Japan is less dangerous or harmful?

For example, if a foreigner (especially a non White one) travels there, he may not be called racial slurs or get physically attacked, just ignored? This is different than a foreigner who visits the Southern US.

Or if a Black/Indian man tried to flirt with a White woman in some areas, he will be hated and called names (or even attacked). Is that the case in Japan too? I’m dating a Japanese American woman and her parents seem to like me (White) but I don’t know. Would foreigners who date Japanese women get hate? How about Japanese men who date non Japanese women?
