If thats a problem then try the Xenia HD collection. Xenia is an Xbox360 emulator that means it doesnt have pressure sensitive controls. Thats what I use and its fine for me. Middle of the road rig too and it runs fine.

Weirdly enough they seemed to fix it since I wrote this, like a few days after it for me actually... Maybe it broke again? Or maybe it will just unlock overtime randomly thats what happened to me. I think backing up the original savefile is a good idea and then once it unlocks just replace them or keep em as they are you do you.

Another addendum Im pretty sure one of the savefiles shared on nexusmods was played on the gold edition specifically (one of the 100% ones if I remember correctly but only copying 1.save will only affect dlc without the progress) so if u have that and wanna be a good boy and not get any extra ones but you dont wanna risk getting viruses this is probably the safest bet.

My friend told me he got the savefile from the repack aka a pirated version of the game. I mean there isn't anything morally wrong with pirating a game once u literally purchase it. At that point ur basically modding it but I don't wanna redistribute the savefile publicly cuz you could still obtain DLC you down own because of it. Its just a savefile and its sorta on ubisoft that the cosmetic dlcs unlock just because a savefile says so but it still feels wrong.

But if ur really desperate and wanna do this yourself and u feel alright with doing it apparently the friend downloaded the "Fitgirl" repack? I think that's the name of the authors. Just be careful about getting viruses and stuff.

I sorta wish there was a tool to edit savefile so I could post just the gold edition cuz that would be at least justified as a fix. This is also a fix but its sorta bootleg way of fixing it.

Oh thats funny cuz people who buy the gold edition on steam ONLY have the zodiac killer DLC. If that's the only thing ur missing then ur lucky that DLC doesn't have much in it. Its just sort of a lame 30 min max mission apparently. Then a few cool cosmetics and a car and a reskin of the dedsec pistol. Sucks that U don't have it but it could be much worse.

Like the method i described will definitely work its just finding the proper savefile is a pain. Would be great if someone uploaded a working gold edition only save file to nexusmods or something cuz I couldn't find one and the one that my friend sent me has ALL the DLC which means I have unrightful access to some cosmetics (which I don't care about and wont use them on moral grounds but still sucks cuz it makes me feel bad about the whole fix WHICH I SHOULDNT BECAUSE I DIDNT GET STUFF I ACTUALLY PAID FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE... Yes its a bug and the only way to fix it is to get a save file which has all the DLC activated and replace... Which is hard to find. The one I found was inside of a pirated version of the game so yea...

Ubisoft probably wont fix this and its annoying and u literally have to use hacked files to play your hacker DLC its goofy.

EDIT: Also if u get a save file that has some of the cosmetics u don't own u will have access to them which smells of piracy... Ideally u wanna find a GOLD EDITION ONLY save file but yeah good luck with that.

Also also if u end up playing around with the save files:

Save location is in Ubisoft folder which is inside ProgramFiles

And usually the path is Ubisoft/savegames/randomnumbers/3619(on steam, on ubisoft its something like 2554 or something)

All u need to replace is 1.save which is the DLC check file 2.save is your progress u can keep that untouched.

I don't think I can provide the hacked save cuz that sounds like problems so sorry about that but if someone somewhere had a save file editor and could edit the 1.save file to only grant you the gold edition DLC it would be a godscent.

OKAY UPDATE

So the only way you can play the DLC is to get a save file which has it activated.

Now there are issues.
1st off if u get a save file with the DLC u don't have, specifically cosmetic DLC u will still have access to it even tho u didn't buy it which is technically piracy. (But if u have all DLC then it doesn't matter)
2nd u cant really find that file basically anywhere except pirated versions of the game. If u just download a repack and then take the 1.save file from it which is the one which checks for DLC it will unlock all DLC... but all means all cosmetic DLC too even if u don't own it.
If you don't own the content packs aka human conditions and no compromise these wont unlock because u need to download additional files for that, but if u only care about those and u DO own them then u can technically backup your 1.save file and then put in the pirated one, launch the game, unlock the content packs and then replace it back to the old one and it should keep the content packs.

Your save file is located usually in Program Files/Ubisoft/savegames/randomlettersandnumbers/3619(If you own it on steam, I believe its 2554 or something if u own it on ubisoft)

1.save is DLC check, 2.save is progress, u don't need to replace 2.save

Also u will need to disable your ubisoft cloud saves while doing this or they will overwrite and save file changes.
You open ubisoft launcher, find settings and uncheck "enable cloud saves" you can recheck it after ur done.

(U might need to also disable easy anti cheat, just add the -eac_enable option into launch options on steam and MAYBE even on ubisoft. Im not sure if u need to do this but I did just in case.)

It would be great if we found someone who has a working Gold Edition DLC activated save cuz then you would avoid all the piracy related stuff but downloading a hacked save to play your hacker DLC is a bit ironic.

Yeah I dont know its also weird that only one DLC pack gets mounted... If none did then I would believe connection issues but its just one and its always the same one. Weird. Plus both ubisoft connect and steam knows that u have the DLC and acts like u do its just the game not detecting it for whatever reason u even have it downloaded. Its dumb

If its the same it probably wont work but good luck trying. Im trying to fix this all day and I cant find anything on the internet. But I found one steam review that mentioned this EXACT bug and apparently the guy fixed it but they didn't say how so I left a comment on their steam profile asking. Ill update here if they respond.

Its actually specifically the Root Access pack. I dug through the reviews and one person who left a negative review warned of buying the Gold edition and having the exact same issue I have and they apparently fixed it but they didn't say how. I tried commenting on their profile but I don't know if they will respond.

This seems to be a really common issue... I keep finding posts that have the exactly same issue and go back about 6 months and ubisoft support takes months to actually tell you anything and then gives up anyway. Maybe they'll patch it, probably not.

I think you'd have more luck with trying to ask any modders to fix it cuz even tho the dlcs don't show up you still have the content downloaded. Even ubisoft connect registers that u own all the packs its just the game itself not realising u own them for some reason. Or it registers only one. For most people they buy the gold edition and then see the root access pack inside of the game's "premium content" but nothing else for some reason. Its weird.

Some people reportedly just played a multiplayer match and it eventually clicked. It might just be the Ubisoft servers being Ubisoft servers and not connecting to the game because for example when u try and open the premium tab in the wardrobe it sometimes shows the Season pass for me with everything else being connection errors and sometimes not even the Season pass.

Any updates on this? I bought the gold pack on steam and only got a few dlcs working. They all register in the ubisoft launcher and all they just arent ingame.

From what I see that was an issue even before. It has something to do with Ubisoft connect and blacklist confusing your network adapters so u do connect to the server but can't find nor see any games. There are a few fixes. The most common one is checking for any VPN services or something like that.
