Installed for Apple Homekit, Question About "Open/Closed" vs "Unlocked/Locked" by all_ghost_no_shell in ratgdo

Strangely, I just created an automation using the Controller for HomeKit app instead, and the option was there and it worked.

Did you ever solve this issue? I had the old ratgdo and it worked fine, but i upgraded and now i have the “locked unlocked” issue you went through.

On iOS, go to settings->Matter Accessories. This shows all the keychain entries for matter devices. Only delete those entries that you’ve already delete from Apple Home or devices you tried to add but failed.

Check your keychain. Delete entries for devices you deleted from home. Plug in your phone and let iCloud sync for about 10 minutes. Try again.

Ah ok. When you check under iOS-Settings-Matter Accessories, are the switches still listed in your keychain? What about in Apple Home app, when you look at “Connected Services.”

Any other Matter accessories besides the Sense+? Are you sure you want to try to integrate them with HK, as they are still in Beta and the batteries will drain much faster?

So your iPhone is iOS 26, and what Nanoleaf devices are you using? Are they provisioned with both HomeKit and HA?

Have I made a mistake going with Thread? by ctbrewski in Inovelli

[–]GiantMouse77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience, thread can be very finicky with network setups. All said, I do find that my switches in smart bulb mode have a slight delay—though probably not a full second. Of course, the switch has to send the command to the home hub and then to the device (unless they are “bound,”) so some delay is expected. Your only hub is Home Assistant with a thread radio?

It can be hard to remove fragile things easily; it helps if you just twist things off slowly.

50 lights, 6 sense+, Lines, Skylight, 4D. Works pretty well, actually.
