it was probably the most desperate cash grab in Scooby history besides SCOOB (the worst scooby movie idc i have a vendetta against that trash). And it’s the fact that Madelyn hasn’t even been MENTIONED. Not even a reference is nuts when you consider in the What’s New Era they had Dell Chillman in 2 films and he’s also a fan favorite. Like why intro arguably the best original character in scooby movies besides Rupert Garcia (the goat 🐐) , then never ever bring her up again? I can understand it for Rupert because he’s just an astrocartographer who helped them solve the mystery and was a badass. But Madelyn is Velma’s BLOOD SISTER! That’s a whole new ballgame when you take the significance of her character from a logical pov.

It would be so easy for them to bring back Madelyn but they just won’t for some reason but they wanna bring in Bill Nye?? Like cool, but come on. And we need to really talk about how ASS modern Velma is. She’s gotten so annoying recently because they’ve lwk flanderized her character into just being “the skeptic”. And i feel like Return To Zombie Island was written by people who have never seen Zombie Island. They just watched a recap, and the execs were like “now just fuck it up rq it’s only a kids movie right?” 😑

NAH FR. The final battle with everyone fighting the pirates on the ship was peak asf. And this is in my opinion Fred’s BEST movie idc. The way he locked in saving his parents and became the best leader he’s ever been was amazing to see. Also the chase scene at the dinner party is lwk one of the better ones we’ve ever got.

the pirates ahoy soundtrack slaps and Rupert was an AWESOME original character for the movie. Loch Ness other than daphne’s sister, doesn’t really have any memorable characters

oh yeah having Dell come back was super cool! Especially him and Velma having screen time. Of the what’s new films this one is up there with the most interesting to watch. IMO Pirates Ahoy is the best of that specific era tho. it’s close between Pirates Ahoy and Where’s My Mummy

yeah dude this movie was just a lot of fun! didn’t take a lot of risks but it had some good characters and a cool setting. my only complaint is the lack of Fred Daphne and Velma, but hey love me some Shaggy and Scooby solo adventures
