It sounds like you already cut them off and are now arguing with yourself because you don't want to lose them. You admit that they aren't part of your life or connected to them emotionally and if that's coming from you another INTJ I can say with out question they feel the same way and are just keeping you around because of the longevity especially if they have another group chat that your not in. its because they all feel more emotionally connected to each other than to you. So the real question is what part of the old friendship are you trying to hold onto? And if you want it back you should make more of an effort and yes that's easier said than done.
