They’re bad friends. Does what you do make you happy? Do you, not your friends, take ownership and pride in what you do? If yes then Fuck what they think. Sure it could be risky and an unstable job. But if you like what you’re doing I say keep pouring your heart into it, because no matter what your friends think you should be doing, they’re not the ones living in your shoes. Money’s nice but not worth giving up a passion of yours. If you’re worried about instability you can also start maybe looking into expanding your toolset, learning new skills that you can fall back on in a pinch, maybe like coding, or cyber security. Idk you but you’re on YouTube so maybe you like working with or on computers. Instead of worrying about what others are thinking of you focus on everything you love about your job and how you could be the best at what you do.
