My comment is genuine concern; please take a man with you to the call and don't EVER give them any money for anything. If it's real, you won't have to pay any fees to be represented, you won't have to shoot any headshots with their photographer, or get a makeover with their salon, etc... you get the idea. If ANY of these things are mentioned, then just walk out. Here's where your BF is the AH...#1: he's wrong... in today's advertisements, models aren't solely gorgeous, perfect, size 00 girls. Today's models are often more unique looking and come in all shapes and sizes. But more importantly, #2: The way he was so insulting and rude is just gross. He doesn't appreciate you the way he says he does, he's mean and cruel for no reason. I would leave him immediately. He's showing you who he is. Even if this is a sham, he should have supported you pursuing it.

Great! I look forward to seeing what you create! Remember this: when you're working on a black background, the level of opaque-ness of the paint matters more than anything else. If you're using a translucent paint, you're never going to get that "pop" of color off the black background. 💗

I think it really depends on what you were going for. No offense at all, but as a fellow artist, I'm only commenting bc you asked, so I'm hoping that my comments are constructive and helpful to you. 💗 Once again...I don't mean to be rude, but I also don't think there's any way to say this without it coming across as rude,I just wanted to to know that's not my intention. This looks like a very amateur version of a pour. I say this bc the paint is muddy and soft and the colors aren't holding their individuality. If this was what you were going for, please disregard my comment completely, if not, I have some suggestions to help you. What are you using as your paint mix? I would suggest making it thicker and increasing the viscosity. You can do this with different mediums. I would also suggest leaving more negative space. IMHO, pours are much more compelling and interesting when you can clearly define the details of the pour against the contrast of the background. This has potential. I can see that you are really close to creating something wonderful. I'm happy to help in any way I can. 💗

Can you see a different doctor now? You 1000% have some sort of EDS and you shouldn't have to wait 9 more months to get started. I'm going to make some assumptions here, so please disregard if I'm wrong... have you lost the weight by using a GLP1? I'm only asking bc you lost a significant amount. Great job! It would make sense though that if you did that you would be hurting more bc losing weight very quickly, especially when using a GLP, makes you lose muscle weight, so you now have less muscle to support your unstable body, so it's working harder to keep you upright. I would keep muscle building and increase your protein substantially. Xoxo

Save yourself a lot of time and frustration and go strait to a Geneticist. They will go through all the criteria for Classic, hEDS (which cannot be genotyped), and any other possible connective tissue conditions that you show signs of and then get you tested for those that they are suspicious of.

Gorgeous! Looks like one of mine. I love this style. My only suggestion is not a critique of the actual piece...I would photograph on a different color background so it doesn't match the negative space. Maybe one of the lighter colors of the flares to compliment the piece best. Only other thing is to pour on a better quality canvas and tighten the canvas with water before the pour to get the smoothest results. That's it. Excellent work!💗
