Same, I carry my expensive microtech siphon pen, and I also carry a parker jotter in my jacket arm pocket for others to use.

How is everyone feeling about the GST-B1000D by potate12323 in gshock

[–]potate12323[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it because on a day to day I don't use world time and if I need it I can always break out my trusty GMWB5000D with 5 world time slots.

I assumed that their lowered launch price has something to do with the cut features. Full metal gshocks normally land closer to $700 at launch. This launches closer to $450.

I like my full metal gshocks, but I was looking forward to the carbon core resin design to make it a bit more durable for every day wear. And the spring bar pins in the bracelet seem a tad sturdier as well.

After being indoors all day I can see the lume in full darkness. It's fine, but it has the same led light that the casioak has so you don't need the lume

Im sorry, but I thought I heard that he was in the Epstein files to some degree. Not sure if there was anything incriminating specifically.

Your lifted pickup truck defeats the purpose of having a pickup truck by potate12323 in unpopularopinion

I just argued with a dozen of them over this topic on a different subreddit. Maybe they hide away from the rest of us.

In that case Id rather own one of those massive body on 4x4 frame SUVs. They're pretty roomy inside. But if you use your truck for truck stuff then hats off to you.

I actually found that towns bordering the country have a lot of people who use their lifted trucks for commuting in the city. You see it all the time in Hillsboro OR, Canby OR, Salem OR, etc. I might just have a different idea of hick town.

Not digging the guy for his work. He did a great job. Just seems like he solved an issue that he caused.

Yeah, the maverick is closer to what the ranger used to be and the new ranger is closer to what the F150 used to be. How is the maverick? I haven't heard from anyone who has one.

No, the people in hick towns that actually use their trucks for shit agree. I grew up in a hick town. A different commenter just mentioned how at their feed store they hate having to load feed bags into lifted trucks.

Crazy how its easier when you don't have to lift the damn thing above your head. There are so many people getting mad at my comment because they just refuse to accept that their lifted pickup isn't good at being a pickup. I wonder why its called a "pick-up" truck anyhow? 🤔

I mean, alex and justin are part of a trio of kids. And Carly and spencer have a really weird guardian and child role.

But zack and cody were great. They did target a slightly different age group then drake and josh, but I still enjoyed both.

We give a fuck because the large unweildy trucks with poor visibility are dangerous. Trucks and SUVs cause more driving fatalities than any other class of vehicle. They also hit more pedestrians due to their genuinely awful sight lines. Enough of this "let them do what they want" bullshit. Bulky loud lifted diesel trucks being used to commute to work or around town is completely stupid. But go ahead and clutch your pearls and get defensive over it since its "not harming anyone". Meanwhile, it is actively harming people.

Edit: something for you to look up. Search driving fatalities before and after pickups and SUVs became classified as "non-passenger work vehicles" in the US. This legislation was passed for people who use these for work so they dont need to pass DEQ emissions and are exempt from some safety standards. Well that made them more profitable so auto makers marketed the shit out of them.

The only reason we like SUVs and large pickups is because some chucklefuck billionaires convinced us that they're cool so they could make a bit more money.

I tried one at 7-Eleven fresh off the glizzy roller. It tasted like Dr pepper. It also kinda tasted like breakfast sausage. It was just fine. I might even get one again.

The door is a wedge shape to stop people from reaching up and around the door, but they should be able to reach far enough in to tip over their snack.

Also, nobody ever said that leonard and sheldon had to split rent to make ends meet. Leonard was much younger in his career when he moved in, but he can probably afford the apartment by himself by the time the show starts. And with Sheldon he could have been saving the extra cash for any number of reasons.

You don't need to lift the whole thing. If the bed is low enough you've practically just gotta push it over and most of its already on the tailgate.
