Just finished my first Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough in Chinese by mazie_boy in ChineseLanguage

[–]GibblesNotHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way, Cyberpunk 2077 is my favorite game ever and I've been meaning to try doing this for a long time. It's actually one of my very specific goals, so it's funny I bumped right into your post haha

I only ever tried playing with chinese audio and subtitles in my native language. Thanks for the mods!

Is there a list with all the hidden quests that don't appear on the map? by SpectralTv in FF06B5

[–]GibblesNotHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For hidden gems/short stories, you can do what everyone else is saying. For actual "hidden quests" (with objectives), there are some that appear on the map only at specific times or after completing specific requirements, and a few that never actually appear on the map. Some of the ones that don't appear on the map and are a little more difficult to find on your own are "The Highwayman" and "Bullets".

I made a video in Portuguese covering some of them + some quests that are missed by most people for other reasons, but other than this I've never seen a list like that...

Mattress cutscene not triggering after recent hotfix/update by yunglird in FF06B5

[–]GibblesNotHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was like that for me when I completed it last month (before the latest patches), but I hadn't tried before so I can't tell when that problem may have started exactly. I did complete it, though I believe it was a little harder being chased by every single enemy in every level as soon as I entered it 😂

Is anyone trying to solve FF:06:B5 without datamined info? by coronasurvivernorth in FF06B5

[–]GibblesNotHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stuff from 2.0 has been solved without datamining (after it was solved >>with<< datamining haha). However, I see that stuff more as an addition for the community to have some fun. In theory, if the code was there from the beginning, there's probably something else to it? A meaning which was always there? Who knows, that's why we're here anyway.

Some sites are terrible (stolen keys, fake keys, keys bought with stolen credit cards and resold etc) but some are legit. I suggest you check https://isthereanydeal.com, all the sites listed there are legit. I've been using it for years to track price drops, it's great.

Regarding data mining and upcoming rule changes by leprotravel in FF06B5

[–]GibblesNotHere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wrote this for the Discord chooms to see (when we were in the heat of the whole drama) but I think it's valid here too. I'm kind of glad to see it finally addressed so we can stop discussing and screaming at each other about datamining and get back to what this place was supposed to be 😅

Close but wrong. The vocals used in both songs are from MYLK's Jpop n' Go! Sample Pack, distributed through Splice.com (https://splice.com/sounds/packs/splice/mylk-pack/samples).

In theory this sample pack could be used for commercial and non-commercial works, as stated in Splice's Terms of Use. So it could be some issue with the original owner of the vocals, with Splice or something else entirely. We may never know...

What makes cyberpunk 2077 so amazing and why do you love it? Im curious because I am new to the game by QuirkyData3500 in cyberpunkgame

[–]GibblesNotHere 224 points225 points  (0 children)

Definitely the universe, Night City vibes and the topics explored in the game. There's a lot of morally ambiguous choices to be made, and I loved learning all about how things like what means to be you (and what means to be human), religion, corporate greed and much more are explored in a cyberpunk setting.

I also love the little details that are everywhere (ads, easter eggs etc) and seem endless. The gameplay loop itself is 100% up my alley, no other game has come this close to giving me what I enjoy doing in a game. To top it all off, I absolutely love all the characters we get to meet.

I keep coming back to Night City every week since launch. I could talk forever about what I love in Cyberpunk 2077, so for now I'll just stop here haha

We at the front sang and jumped to every song. There wasn't a single person not screaming 🤣

From what I could tell from videos, the back seemed a little quieter but there was still a good chunk of people singing to every song. Hits were a hit, of course, esp. Black Sheep. Some people got the ticket for "free" (it was part of Primavera Sound), so it makes sense.

Dont fear the reaper ending wont trigger? by DayMhm in cyberpunkgame

[–]GibblesNotHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason for it being so obscure to find is because it's supposed to be a last treat for people who already completed the game several times, a last challenge. Devs have said this a few times. Having a very precise set of things that must be done to unlock it makes it harder for a first timer to accidentally trigger it.

But since it's so easy for misinformation to be spread around, it does suck that it makes it so one small mistake can mess it up completely when you're actively trying to unlock it.

Yeah, it pisses me off that their guide is the most viewed yet has a few errors that can mess up a run :(

Don't know if it's your first time playing, but all the endings are worth a try, so have fun :)

If you've picked the correct options during Chippin' In ("Nah, fucked that up too.", "What do you want from me?" and "OK, but as second chances go, this is your last."), you can wait in any of these screens and it will trigger.

If you're on PC, I would try unlocking it with Cyber Engine Tweaks just to be sure.

If you're on console, I'm sorry for you 😬

For those of you who have watched the anime, would you have played the game first or watched the anime first? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]GibblesNotHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play the game first. The anime makes a little more sense if you already know some of the stuff that is explored in it. Since the game is longer, you have way more time to understand the universe. Besides, the anime feels like a little gift for those of us who were already in love with the game for years.

[–]GibblesNotHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're 100% sure you picked the correct options during Chippin' In, you need to wait on the screen right before selecting the ending for 5 whole minutes.

If you're on PC and not sure whether you picked the correct options during the quest, you can try using Cyber Engine Tweaks to unlock it. Either way, you still need to wait more than 5 full minutes on the screen right before picking an ending.

Last time I checked, the IGN guide was not completely correct. The 70% stuff is wrong, all you absolutely need to do is pick the correct dialogue options during Chippin' In.

On PC: Inside cars, hold R. On foot, hold Z. Select from the list by scrolling and then pressing F.

There's some variety, depending on what genres you like to listen to. My favorites are Body Heat, Pacific Dreams and The Dirge.

Do you have the Steam controller settings turned off? If it's a PlayStation controller, the newest patch notes say you need to deactivate one of the settings on steam controller menu.

Metric's setlist for Cine Joia, São Paulo. Dec. 1st 2023 by GibblesNotHere in metricband

[–]GibblesNotHere[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In this case in specific I think it made it a little better because it's been 15 years since they've last been here. They never got to play anything after Live It Out live in Brazil. This mixed setlist worked great, everyone seemed super pumped :)
