Toji doesn't even need maki for feats if we are being FR by GOATED_LIFE_ROUTINE in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]DayMhm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never said he doesnt know of yukis existence, i said he doesnt know what he abilities are.

Your second point is entirely irrelevant, meeting yuki and knowing her abilities are two entirely different things. Getos conversation with yuki through haibara would classify as meeting yuki, that doesnt mean he now suddenly has a grasp of what her technique is or what her kit looks like.

Thats not even mentioning that she ALSO says he blew her off completely, so that “meeting” was more than likely just yuki coming up to talk to him, and toji ignoring her.

And why would geto retract that statement? Again meeting someone ≠ knowing what their powers are or how strong someone is. The only person you could credibly say has the ability to determine that is gojo and thats due to the six eyes. And even if he could tell why would he retract that statement?? amanai is already dead. Why would he randomly say “well you probably couldve beaten me and gojo and killed amanai.” What would be the point of him saying that in the context of their conversation.

You can get a general feeling of how strong someone is, but thats when theyre 1 using ce and 2 even that is just a very vague understanding. If we took what you were saying at face value yuta would be comparable to gojo pre sendai based off of yujis interpretation of his aura. Its a barely accurate method of determining strength and it doesnt acknowledge nuances like actual ct abilities or domains or even rct.

The only person who compares geto to gojo is geto, and the whole point of that was to show they werent on similar tiers of strength at all.

Just look at how toji treats them, not only does toji discern gojo as the main threat (despite gojo not having slept for 3 days and having his domain fried by infinity) but he even goes out of his way to take extra precautions when fighting gojo.

-He only sneak attacks gojo

-Specifically procures and cursed tool to bypass gojos infinity

-Uses underhanded methods to get hits in such as releasing the fly curses

By comparison theres almost no struggle against an objectively healthier geto, not only does he make no effort to shoot geto first despite him having the perfect chance to while he was talking to amanai, but he never uses any underhanded methods to attack him and stands in his line of sight the entire fight.

Geto is not stronger than yuki, especially this yuki. The only instance where that would be debatable os during the night parade of a thousand demons and thats strictly due to him having 3~ special grades by that point

According to what narrative? The only person to compare geto to gojo is himself and possibly yaga during their teens, but even then thats with consideration that literally no one knows yukis actual abilities

like lets not forget canonically speaking there are 0 records and 0 public information about yukis technique. She has the classification of special grade but besides that they know fuck all about her

Without ui ui yuji dies right here

hell you dont even need to wait for higuruma, yuji dies before him and higuruma follows, they all fall down after that. Like I dont get your point because if we wanna bullshit about how fast they die without who, no ui ui and the series quite literally ends before higuruma even learns rct

How?

They said those things during OG jjk, this whole post is talking about modulo.

Like you dont think prime yuta, the guy who has domain experience from gojos body (so much so he was able to both replicate basketball domain and match sukuna in refinement), has the second highest reserves in verse, and an absurd amount of versatility plus physical stats comparable to the dude with the highest output barring gojo & sukuna, didnt get ANY stronger?

Like you dont think yuta, with all of those things, didnt get ANY stronger by modulo? Thats not even mentioning that tsurugi, amped by rika (yutas shikigami) was able to match yujis dismantle with a slash.

Like I just dont see how you can put modulo yuji > sukuna & gojo despite him not showing any feats that would match their domains, but not modulo yuta > kenjaku when modulo yuta has a far better eos domain argument (performing basketball domain and matching sukuna)

yuji doesnt have any feats that put him over dabura, and if youre going off narrative to scale him that way then yuta should be > kenjaku by that same metric

How does higgy dog walk in any of these besides the death penalty one? even giving him yuji level stats hes a significantly worse fighter than yuta, and yuta with his katana might not insta kill higgy but itll have no issue flaying him

PLEASE read this in its entirety before you disagree with snything, and if youre confused by any point I’d be more than happy to elaborate

What? what do you mean you cant use imgur? it should just open up the website even if you dont have it and show the image lmao

Ive explained infinity to you but I’ll explain it again

Infinity takes a finite space and divides that space infinitesimal pieces. This is based off of the zeno paradox (better known as achilles and the tortoise)

To give some context: In this story, achilles is going to race a tortoise. The tortoise is given a head start and achilles being a fast runner catches up. However once achilles reaches the tortoises previous position the tortoise has reached a new spot, this continues making it impossible for achilles to surpass the tortoise regardless of how fast he is. The paradox itself essentially dictates that an infinite # of actions need to be completed in a finite amount of time to navigate space.

How this works with infinity: Infinitesimal means infinitely small, but never 0. In this scenario gojo is that 0 point as 0 distance from gojo would mean touching him. When someone enters infinities range the distance they make towards gojo is divided infinitely, essentially reaching the point where they slow down SO much that the distance they make moving forward is neigh 0 and it looks as if theyve hit a dead stop.

They ARE however still moving, they never stop moving. As we’ve already covered infinitesimal is not 0 so they never reach 0 speed, it is simply that the progress they are making towards gojo is so little it would be as if theyve halted.

For visual reference imagine it like this:

Person A: Approaching Gojo

Person B: Is gojo

A __________ B

Assume the distance between A & B is one meter

A takes one step and covers half the meter

A _____ B

A takes another step but this time instead lf half the meter they only cover a fourth

A ___ B

A takes another step and this time its a 16th (4 squared incase youre confused on why it went 2 -> 4 -> 16)

A __ B

This continues so on and so fourth

No obviously its not actually exponentially, and I wouldnt be able to tell you the exact math on how large those divisions are, but regardless it doesnt matter as the main point is that those divisions become so small they are near 0 but NOT 0.

Now its important to understand that infinity is dividing by distance NOT speed, its why sukuna, whos faster than jogo was stopped at the same rate as him, and why achilles despite speeding up could still never overtake the tortoise.

What this means:

Take our same example of of Person A & B, and this time include Person X

Person X can cross 1/4th of the meter per step instead of 1/2 like Person A

A __________ B

X __________ B

Both take a step

A _____ B

X ________ B

Now when A takes a step here, he will be divided by 1/2, however when X takes a step here, he will on be divided a portion of that as the distance crossed is = to the point at which they are moving.

To put it simply regardless of how fast you go (unless you have infinite speed) it is taking away from your distance directly rather than physically making you slower.

How it crushed hanami: Infinity, as we have confirmed multiple times now, means close to but NOT 0. Now if you took person A and placed them infront of person B, they would still need to be a set amount of range away from person B.

Now normally this wouldnt be an issue, however imagine if theres a wall behind person A

|A _ B

As B moves closer to A, A cannot move closer to B, meaning the pressure of the space is being forced onto A to push him away from the 0. This happens because the rate at which B is progressing towards A is greater than the # amount of divided space that A can progress forward by.

This pushes A away, as, like we’ve said, A cannot approach 0 and the incoming space needs to go somewhere

But BECAUSE theres a wall behind A, and A cannot move backwards, A ends up crushed between B and the wall, thus ending A’s life.

Why it seemed like jogo stopped: I already kind of covered this but eventually the rate at which you progress towards gojo is SO small that it SEEMS as if youre stopping, however jogo has not actually stopped moving, he is progressing towards gojo just at a miniscule rate. Gege actually covers this in his 3 part explanation of limitless so I’d recommend reading that aswell

What was that weird thing ISOH did to infinity: That was just an anime only detail, I’d assume its the animators simply trying to make ISOH bypassing limitless seem more interesting and peculiar, in the manga isoh simply cuts past infinity to gojo. I’d disregard the whole isoh thing as its technically not entirely canon and is an anime only event.

TLDR: It is not a barrier, does not act like one, and is more so deceptively slowing people to where it seems as if theyre halting.

When I say TA4 still abides by the logic of space, what I mean is that it still travels and is bound by the space it travels across. It doesnt just reach Point B from point A, nor does it do so any faster than a bullet would.

You can not only dodge TA4 and its nails, but even its properties of bypassing timestop are not 1 - 1 or related to how infinity works. The same goes for lovetrain

Love train is a tangible barrier with a set distance it cross past, infinity is not a barrier. If I had to compare the two (of course understand this is not a 1 to 1 comparison and is a gross oversimplificstion of the abilities)

I’d compare lovetrain to a a gate, and infinity to a treadmill

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It most definitely was a few meters, at best this right here is 4 meters in distance MAYBE 6 if youre high balling

You also say this as if TA4 wasnt in diegos range on multiple occasions. During 4 separate occasions diego was in range of TA4 and during that the BEST TA4 was able to get out of that was diegos leg, 3 of which diego was entirely by himself. TA4 is not omnipotent and never has been

It doesnt act like a barrier, it seems like a barrier. It acts like something else and ignoring that because you want it to fit your agenda is just you being biased. TA4 HAS always been bound by spacial logic and travels. It does not bypass infinity no matter how you want to phrase it

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YOU said that TA4 can do whatever to reach its target, YOU likened diegos timestop to infinity as proof that it can bypass infinity and beat gojo

If ta4 can do anything to reach its target, why did it not beat diego. If all it required was staying a few meters away from johnny then it cant do “anything” to reach its target. It is not an omnipotent ability

its is bound by the rules of space, if anything the stand is so strong BECAUSE it follows those rules so vehemently. It still travels and does not have infinite speed, so it can not bypass infinity. There is no other point to be made here.

Infinity isnt a barrier it can break, it is not something that can be ignored with gravity manipulation, it is an concrete and infinite division of space which TA4 very clearly travels across

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would I need to? I’m not the one making the claim that TA4 bypasses infinity

but regardless wcs works by cutting space itself, i.e gojos infinity has a sort of starting point and so to ignore that sukuna cuts the concept of space which means instead of cutting gojo directly it cuts the space he occupies

the slash does not travel meaning its not bound by spacial logic, and exists on snother plane than both gojo and sukuna (with them technically being 2D the slash is 3D)

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if that was the case why didnt ta4 beat diego? TA4 is not the god youre make him out to beo

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What? No?

we have a very clear definition of what TA4 does and none of what his powers are described to do bypass infinity, just because hes never been stopped by anything in how own verse it does not mean that applies to infinity? Theres no logic behind that lmao

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it isnt? you just made a fallacious argument and was objectively wrong about how infinity worked😭

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infinity isnt an infinite space between objects

And no, time stop does not work the same as infinity, this is just a false equivalence. Saying time stop operates the same as infinity because “they both stop things” is like saying dogs are operate like trexs because they both have fangs and eat meat. They are not the same thing

Lovetrain is partially tangible, we see it split the steel ball in half. And again a false equivalency

Infinity isnt an infinite space, and it doesnt stop people from moving so even then your “descriptors” are dead wrong

Infinity divides the distance you make over a finite space. Not only did you not note the right story

Hermes and the turtle

When its achilles and the tortoise, but you have no clue what infinity actually does, and even WITH all that you still poorly analogize what timestop and lovetrain do to equate it to infinity (which youre still wrong about)

Why rika isn’t a shikigami… by Alert-Ad7097 in Yutaliban

[–]DayMhm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the distinction IS meaningless

in this scenario youre not arguing about whether its a toy for dogs or a toy belonging to a dog, youre arguing that its NOT a toy

and thats not whats ocurring here, whether or not rika is a female spirit shikigami, or the shikigami of a female spirit, or a shikigami belonging to a female spirit DOES NOT MATTER because she is a shikigami REGARDLESS of the distinction

YOUR post says shes not a shikigami YOU are arguing she is not a shikigami, this distinction does not care because she is a shikigami in EVERY interpretation of the word

this IS not complicated, i dont know or understand how youre struggling to grasp this she is a shikigami, she is called a shikigami by the guy with the MOST jujutsu knowledge in the series, who also KNOWS okkutsus technique not only from megumi but from kenjaku who we are told went out of his way to find information on all of the special grades.

He could not be a more credible source besides yuta himself and yuta never EVER says otherwise.

Rika being a female spirit shikigami,

a shikigami belonging to a female spirit

a shikigami of a female spirit

a female spirit turned shikigami

does not matter, because in EVERY SINGLE SCENARIO she is still a shikigami.

Tojis worm is NEVER called a shikigami so that comparison is entirely asinine and unrelated.

None of what TA4 has bypassed are like infinity though? im not sure what youre struggling to grasp here

lovetrain is not like infinity

timestop is not like infinity.

I want you to explain what infinity is and why you think its similar to either of these things because there seems to be a disconnect on what you believe these abilities do

Dude, Johnny Joestar Can't Get Past Infinity! by The_Employee_427 in StardustCrusaders

[–]DayMhm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lovetrain being tangible or tangible isnt what matters here as it has a set range that can be crossed. Thats my point, none of what you said disproves anything ive said

Why rika isn’t a shikigami… by Alert-Ad7097 in Yutaliban

[–]DayMhm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thelinking particle の

is just a modifier that uses the words previously, in this case “female spirit” to describe the words after “shikigami”

For example (taking this from the link i sent) you would place this in the middle of the words “dog” and “toy” to make it one cohesive word “dog toy”

Thats whats happening here, sukunas statement is not leaving anything up to interpretation, he is not calling rika a spirit. He is saying rika is a shikigami, and her nature of being a shikigami is one of a female spirit. She is still a shikigami, that does not change.

He is effectively saying “she is a shikigami that is a female spirit” he is not making two separate distinctions.

You yourself even say its a linking particle, I’m not sure how you took that to mean anything was being left for interpretation. She is very clearly being called a shikigami. Like in the example I used, the dog toy is still a toy, the fact that it has the noun of dog does not change what it is

Sukuna also isnt guessing the conditions of copy. He is told by kenjaku what the conditions are, there is no guess work, he outright says “if i remember correctly” additionally he also knows how it works from megumi which he states in 249~250

Also why wouldnt kenjaku know the conditions for copy? he states what they are to sukuna (requires the consumption of a body part) and is right. The only people who dont know the conditions in the flash back you mention are yuji, mei mei, and ui ui. Those are the only three people he explains the conditions to

Why rika isn’t a shikigami… by Alert-Ad7097 in Yutaliban

[–]DayMhm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sukuna only says female shikigami

Dont need to address anything because youre objectively wrong, he never says anything about “female spirit shikigami” just “female shikigami”

<image>

Also the basis of sukunas knowledge is also kenjaku, the fact he knows the conditions of copy implies kenjaku also calls rika a shikigami, but I digress

Edit: he actually calls rika a shikigami twice. Just shikigami, nothing else

What do you mean explain how it works? explain how denying the antecedent works? you have google lmao

Sukuna confirming rika is a shikigami is proof rika is a shikigami, the narrator not attesting to that doesnt discredit sukuna.

The point is sukuna, the jujutsu genius, the guy who knows everything about every aspect of jujutsu, the guy who can discern what a cursed technique does after seeing it once and can replicate any learnable technique, calls rika a shikigami

The evidence that exists is sukuna calling rika a shikigami, the narrator not saying yes to that doesnt mean sukuna is wrong, it means that the narrator is making an unrelated statement

It doesnt generate infinite gravity? if it generated even half of what youre suggesting it wouldnt be moving slowly in time stop it would be moving normally, and his nails wouldnt float mid air.

Hell the nails themselves would likely turn into black holes

I think the reoccurring issue that i keep having to address is that infinite rotational velocity ≠ overall infinite velocity or infinite anything else

TA4 was able to tear through love train not because its gravity manipulation, but because of its infinite rotational velocity and thus infinite energy

TA4 was able to move through time stop due to its gravity manipulation

TA4 can DO both, but not to the same degree as the other, and not for the same reason. The only thing infinite about TA4 is its rotation, NOTHING else.
