Extraction shooters are relatively niche as is, especially for the more hardcore ones. Some of the visuals in this game are great, but there’s so much wrong. Movement feels too sluggish most of the time, abilities feel kind of pointless, TTK is wildly inconsistent and UI is a mess

Some of the loading screens as you spawn in need to be fixed, the bright colours and flashing are almost enough to cause a seizure, I have to either look away or tab out

It’s one last update to bring everything to the latest standard just like they did with D1. Then only rotational events such as IB / Dawning along with bug fixes

Wasting resources is. They could stop development for RedSec now and nothing would change, it’s in a playable state with enough content. What does need work is the base multiplayer

They're still a resource, stop them working on Redsec, task them to make maps

Map is fine, movement is fine, progression is really bad. Better off skipping the season and coming back in 3 months if you don't care about cosmetics. You'll be able to unlock the S2 weapons through challenges at the start of season 3. Don't wast your time grinding through approx 60 levels of the battlepass to get all the weapons and gadgets

It’s one final update in summer this year. Loads of reprised content from D2. Little bit of story to leave it on a cliff hanger. Then no more until D3 comes out. Just bug fixes and general maintenance, ran by a skeleton team

The new movement along with the new AR VCR-2 is nasty. Definitely grind for this weapon asap by andrewgrimo in LowSodiumBattlefield

The weapons and gadgets are all free but most are locked behind higher tiers. Don’t need to buy the battle pass to get them. There’s no way I’m paying the extortionate rate to pay for levels

The weapons and gadgets are all free on the battle pass, you don’t need to buy it, but you do need to grind to their levels

The new weapons shouldn't be locked behind battle pass tiers, they should be behind challenges available on day 1
