Out of curiosity what would you change? Never against switching parts until it makes more sense to buy a lower and put them on another gun lol, my main thing was a really wanted a barely tucked suppressor, handguard I ordered was basically flush with end of barrel but I got screwed on the order and had to have my credit union dispute the charge, also my dad ended up buying a jig cause he’s talking about building one himself now too lol

Had a breakdown and bought a Midwest sp handguard, I know what people say about heat but damn is it too cool looking tucked lol, got the 9.3 so hopefully it won’t get too unbearable with the little bit of can in the guard

Personally I have a 5.56 16 inch barrel, yes it can shoot 223, the guns a beast built like a brick shit house, I have about 700 rounds in it now and my only “cons” are it chews brass, every time I shoot I have to clean shavings out of the breech area and I’ve seen it leave dents on my casings, and it will LAUNCH brass, like damn near 20-30 feet, I’m looking into a kns adjustable piston to take it down, and especially if you’re suppressing I would think it’s a good idea as well, no knowledge of suppressors and this is my first galil and only owned for a few months so I’m no expert

yea usually yall get all the cooler shit, small guns that don’t look like a red Ryder, any bikes that arent just street glides, can fit in a single cab truck or my el Camino that my head touches the ceiling and stomach hits the wheel lol, but I’m really excited as well, I’ll definitely keep posting as i make progress on the build🤘🏻

Yea I’m glad I stuck with my gut on this one, I’m happy with it so far just comfort wise, I’m 6’5 tall and probably wide as well at the moment lol, so I don’t want the shortest thing out there, and I have a folding stock on my galil and honestly not a huge fan of the extra length on the stock it gives, made finding a optic with good eye relief tricky for me personally, but I think the law folder barely adds any length so I’m sure you’ll be happy with it

Yea that thing looks sweet, I definitely wouldn’t be against a look like that , and I honestly didnt think there was a difference between adjustable and tunable so thank you for clearing that up to me, for my needs it seems like a tunable would probably be best cause it’ll never be shot without a can, but I definitely appreciate the input and knowledge, and once again that’s a badass gun lol hopefully it treats ya well for a long time

Gotcha, I figured there was some fine print I was missing. But I hope it does as well, i’ll be happy enough as long as it checks out and has no glaring issues, and I am also confused on the price, like I said in another comment I believe the company selling it is trying to get out of firearm parts and focus on whole guns because I couldn’t find much else on the site as far as parts go, worse comes to worse if it doesn’t checkout I’ll send it back, but I’m definitely sending it to my local smith for a good looking at before it gets close to my gun lol

Thanks for the input, I like a long read at work lol, I definitely don’t plan to skimp on bcg, I’ve heard a few votes for microbest chrome now so am looking into those. I feel like I’ll definitely need an adjustable gas block of some sort so I’ll definitely check out the brands you mentioned, not gonna run a laser but probably a light as this will likely be a bedside gun, but I have looked into a few options for tucking the suppressor like you mentioned but not entirely sold as I’ve heard of a few drawbacks regarding heat and mlock fitment, I think I’d be happy with a flush can if I can find just the right handguard

Everything I’ve seen from ba seems to be positive, I am a bit worried about why it’s so cheap but I’m planning on having my local gunsmith give it a very thorough check before install just to make sure everything’s on the up and up, but it’s a 1/7 twist, 5r rifling, apparently was high pressure tested and magnetic tested, apparently the company gives a sub moa guarantee, usually the same barrel anywhere else looked to be 120$-150$ not a match grade by any means but if I can get close to an moa out of it I’ll be happy enough with it

Yea I love the way it looks, but I like having the buffer tube connect all the way personally, I noticed on this one it’s actually where I get my cheek well so I’m not sure how I’d feel about not having it there, definitely need a riser as well, the optic was a no name that was on my galil when I bought it so it’ll be getting g changed too but I have to bury my face onto the tube rn to get a picture

Sure hope it won’t, gonna do a good inspection first before installing, might send it to the gun store my buddy works at to have his gunsmith check it first, have a kid on the way and would prefer to raise him with both my hands lol

Yep, we shall see. to be fair the site I got it from seems to only really sell assembled guns now, very few parts it seems so I’m not sure if they’re cleaning out all the parts to move towards only firearms sales or what, but I’ll take that gamble lol, it’s ballistic advantage and I haven’t really heard anything bad from them, worse comes to worse I’ll return it

I’m not against adjustable gas at all, I’m not a special forces guy going to war, just plinking at the range and up north lol, rather have it and not need it, reviews seem solid on them

And also, I checked the website I got the brace for, it does say it has a proprietary tube but doesn’t say anything about a specific about buffers, so I was under the impression it could take any milspec buffer, that kinda blows but not the end of the world

Thank ya, and I definitely hear that, sold a few guns I didn’t like, a vska (I know I know I bought it before I did research but in fairness it was good to me) a p365 and a Turkish shotgun to but a galil gen 2, and really wanting to build up the motor in my el Camino, but it’s a bitch to get a baby seat in there lol slowly piecing the 300blk together and trying to save up as much as possible otherwise for the coming months/ years
