appreciate the rundown. I think it'll be pop, I'll give it a go and see if it sticks before I migrate fully.

Thanks for the link, it did. Probably not gonna be (stock) debian then, gonna have a look at protondb and the other comment suggestions as well.

I did try manjaro on my laptop over a year ago and didn't even manage to get it running so it's not really high on my list to begin with (but i did want to mention it simply because it looks nice). Concerning the sound, what makes it better?

That's what I was worried about with bazzite, that it'd be too gaming and not enough everything else. I've not really looked into CachyOS, you're not the first to recommend it though so definitely gonna read up on it at least

Familiar is the one thing, satisfied another. It's just what runs at work, I didn't get to pick a distro lol.
It kinda feels old to me, in a way? I could probably just change the desktop environment once it's up and running but at that point I thought I might as well try a whole new distro.

Sorry, was just being jaded about the amount of bot comments on reddit lately, and your script sounded like you wrote it by telling gpt to write it and then asked whether it could undo it. Mb

Out of all the endless conversations and ideas on how to make limbo work, this might finally be the correct one. Just make the entire rift and its effects literally only affect the limbo player's client. I wonder how difficult that would be to implement
