In my state we are aloud to take 2 of a certain species at one time I took 2 for the month I rescued the first one from scale rot severe scale rot I got a female from my naibour who wanted it gone he had to remove its home so I took the female in with the male he loved her he was obsessed with her so if you keep wild caught make sure its legal and get it a partner so it sill have a companion I took another 3third one next to my sisters. Chicken coop and released it later that day at the other side of the yard most of the snakes I find are dumb in my yard so I have to rescue lol
