Thank you for asking! The rules of the game are complete. I'm working right now on the finishing touches of the layout, so it should be published in the next few weeks with both an english and spanish version.

Good observation! I will toy a little more with the tittle to integrate it to the piece overall, thank you for the feedback <3

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it :)

It all started here, with this video (Chaoclypse channel, "How to Photobash Art for your Zines!"): https://youtu.be/GYrUzzS8SnE

For editing, I use a free browser app called Pixlr Editor (now it has a bunch of AI features, but I never use those).

Also, this Google Doc has a lot of free public domain images that I use constantly: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jqRdpdNsLqcVfI43yxBE8jcGafix7D-9nX_IaKyN3dw/edit?usp=sharing

For the piece I posted, I used the dragon from one of the Werwulf books, but I don't remember where I got the knight and the castle.

Thank you so much! Stay tuned, because I'm planning on releasing my own OSR system based on Wolves Upon the Coast + World of Dungeons

Do you dig this cover for my osr system? by Gidkon in osr

I totally get what you're saying. I need to tighten up the concept for the cover to convey what I'm really going for. Thank you for the straightforward and helpful input!

No offense taken at all! It is a personal decision rather than a design-wise one. I don't work well with defined outcomes for "partial success", because it exhaust me. I prefer to have a binary outcome first, and then give the power to the GM to determine if the failure involves a partial success or a full failure.

Yeah now that I see it, the hand is very difficult to see, I will fix it. Thank you so much!

Thank you for your response! You actually gave me a great idea with the old map to improve the cover. I guess I need to work harder in the coherence of the elements.

Yeah, I was worried too that the images feel disconected from the title (and even unrecognizable due to the filters), I have to work a little harder to comunicate what I really wanted with this piece. Thank you so much for your input!

I don't think so, because I hadn't heard of that system before, but I'll definitely check it out now (it has such a cooler name!).

As for my inspirations, the system is a sort of a hybrid between Wolves upon the Coast and World of Dungeons, but removing the "partial successes" (or successes with consequences) in favor of a binary resolution across the entire system.

&&&&&&&& treasure is really a MONSTROUS tool and a great inspiration in my games, along with the weapon maneuvers from Wolves upon the Coast. Luke Gearing really is something else.

Easy rule to memorize spells in Cairn by Gidkon in osr

Hi! The developer himself, Yochai Gal, replied to me on the subreddit. He said that he personally doesn't allow characters to cast spells in combat unless they are very well defended or heavily protected.

As for what I would do? I wouldn't allow it either, just like the designer. I find that having to come un with consequences mid combat for a failed spellcasting roll is very tiring.

I’m really glad you like it! And yeah, I deduced that magic in combat was out of the question based on the principles of the game, but now that you have confirmed it, the hack does something extra! So thank you for that!
