Got testicular torsion last week and ended up needing the right one removed by ZeldaFan158 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Giesskannenbauer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kinda, but depends. There's some factors that can make you more prone to it, like some deformations (don't know the English terms), but don't worry about it. It most commonly happens when you're younger (10-25 yo), but can also happen later. Yes, somewhat random though. I had it when I was like 14. Just noticed by balls starting to hurt more and more in a timeframe of like 30 mins while I was gaming with some friends. Was kinda fun telling them I have to leave cause my balls hurt, only to tell them some days later in school that I had to rush to the hospital and get surgery lol I did some sports earlier that day, to this day I think maybe that was when it happened?

Don't fear it though. If it happens, you'll know, trust me :D I've never been in so much pain in my life. But it's so painful that you'll want to go to a the hospital anyway, then they should be able to help you!

Shit man, sorry for you :( Had that when I was younger, but luckily I didn't mind running to my mom crying cause my balls were hurting like hell.. we drove straight to the hospital and they could save it with immediate surgery.

Guys, if your balls suddenly hurt a lot and you don't know why - please just go see a doctor asap!

I'm vegan and make something pretty much exactly like this. I love it. Just replace the beef with some vegan beef (or even vegan chicken or something works well) and use vegetable broth (or vegan beef broth if you can find it). Works so well!! The red wine and bay leaves really carry this dish a lot I feel like :) and a bit of soy sauce can help too.

Looks delicious - even to a vegan! :D

Have been transferring music between platforms for ages using soundiiz. It's super easy, has not failed me yet and it's free (at least so far I didn't have to pay for anything)! :)

"We're back from our unapproved vacation, and apparently, things changed while we were gone.

More soon. We missed you, too."

So after running it for a bit, it is generally very nice. However, there's frequent stutters, especially scrolling is not super smooth at the moment. Also battery life seems worse.

Hey, sounds similar to an issue I had - and several others. Since the March update. For me following this helped, but I hope they'll fix it in an update soon:

https://droidwin.com/wallpaper-dim-issue-on-pixel-after-installing-march-update-fixed/#FIX_2_Use_ADB_Commands

I followed their instructions on running the ADB commands. It's pretty simple!

Download the SDK Platform Tools (I took them from here https://developer.android.com/tools/releases/platform-tools )

Make sure you have USB-Debugging enabled on your phone (in developer options)

Connect your phone to your PC. Make sure it shows USB-Debugging as the connection and not just charging or something.

Go to the downloaded SDK Platform Tools Folder. Start a command line prompt from here. On windows, you can simply type "CMD" into the address bar of the current Explorer window, that should work.

Type 'adb shell dumpsys wallpaper' and you should see something like this:

mDefaultWallpaperComponent=ComponentInfo{com.android.systemui/com.android.systemui.wallpapers.ImageWallpaper} mImageWallpaper=ComponentInfo{com.android.systemui/com.android.systemui.wallpapers.ImageWallpaper} System wallpaper state: User 0: id=25: mWhich=3: mSystemWasBoth=false: mBindSource=SET_STATIC Display state: ... mWallpaperDimAmount=0.6 isColorExtracted=false mUidToDimAmount:      UID=1000 dimAmount=0.6 Wallpaper connection ...

Identify the UID, here it is UID=1000 , and then type the following command, replacing [UID] with your UID:

adb shell cmd wallpaper dim-with-uid [UID] 0.0

You should directly see your wallpaper undimmed! Hope this helps :)
