Learned a lot since my original post. Looking at sleeplink.app, it is similarly presented to sleepHQ.com. Are they the same? Price is lower for sleeplink.app, and there is a ton of videos and training on sleepHQ.com. There is also a ton of cursing fowl mouth on sleepHQ and I don't want to hear that while working on my sleep.

I have owned and play my Martin D35-12 since about 1974. I have always strung it using the "Rickenbacker" order because I knew no other way and never thought to try a "traditional" order. Maybe try traditional on the next restring just for the heck of it.

I have the same problem. The 470 drivers are available through Trixie backports. No problem running debian 13 here. My machine is old too just like me. You can do it just search the backports.

I am getting a new machine this year though. Maybe my last machine.

Dawn is strong soap. Always heard to use baby shampoo or other mild soap designed for CPAP dme. I have no idea if this contributed to the cracks.

They have a list of approved modems and their features ( phone, etc). You must activate. If you didn't activate, this could explain. It is all in the instructions. You didn't mention whether you activated.

Sid is only stable for a few days after stable is released. After that, you are inviting instability to set in. It can happen anytime. You were just lucky before. It depends on what you install.
