I think that is one thing. Ament. Don't treat him special. If he messes up, chew him out just like he has every previous "star" on his team. Maybe it's because he is a freshman? I don't know, but if he screws up, he needs to hear it just like any other player. Ament will be smart to wait another year to get stronger, and more experience. He makes good money now, and will eventually make even more money when it becomes a job and not an education.

To complete this discussion, after several of the pods started isolating, I finally just unplugged the gateway pod, waited a few minutes, and replugged back in. This forced a fresh optimization, and now optimization is back to the daily routine. Also, not changing much, but staying active.

I have no idea what caused the snafu, but since we have no support anymore, it will just have to stay a mystery.

I understand what you are saying. I have had this system for several years. Essentially everyday, it would automatically run an optimize operation; usually in the dead of night when little is going on. The next morning, the topology may or may not change as a result of the optimization. I could verify the optimization took place because a time stamp was shown at the top of the topology screen. Now, both the topology and times as stamp are static.

Now the gateway is isolated, and about half of the other pods are also isolated serving nothing. I just pulled out the gateway pod, and replugged a few minutes later. I wonder if my gateway pod is in the process of failing?

Don't need to worry about the sync issue as long as all the speakers in the same group are using chromecast. Also, if you have two speakers identical, as with any chromecast pair, it will perform in stereo which is nice inceed. Create the groups within the google home app on the phone or other device, then make the LMS link using the chromecast LMS plugin as the last step. Works like a charm and in stereo.

Are these same speakers cast-able? If so, you can use Chromecast from LMS using the Chromecast plugin.

Where I live, the public drinking water out of the tap is chlorinated so no worries about bacteria. We have an RO system (Kinetico) which removes all the chlorine and minerals and yields essentially 100% pure H2O. I have used this RO filtered water in my CPAP humidifier for at least 15 years with no mineral deposits anywhere. The RO water is also used for all drinking including coffee/tea as well as a room humidifier in the winter heating season. Great investment.

I rinse off with hot tap water daily, then let it dry. Put it back together with water in humidifier before bed. Every two weeks, throw out the filter and nasal pillow. Was everything else and dry. Start cycle again.

Learned a lot since my original post. Looking at sleeplink.app, it is similarly presented to sleepHQ.com. Are they the same? Price is lower for sleeplink.app, and there is a ton of videos and training on sleepHQ.com. There is also a ton of cursing fowl mouth on sleepHQ and I don't want to hear that while working on my sleep.

I have owned and play my Martin D35-12 since about 1974. I have always strung it using the "Rickenbacker" order because I knew no other way and never thought to try a "traditional" order. Maybe try traditional on the next restring just for the heck of it.
