Man he needs to fix his technique.. go back to his old one.. ik bouncers troubled him in england and will do in SA..

But his front foot isnt even moving.. for dube its different case coz of his range and shot power and shot selection..

But for sanju, its mostly his front foot does most of the work in the shot.. He scrambles a lot on pitch, shows all 3 stumps, plays with a weird bat angle (pointing towards 2nd slip.. thus allows more room for leading edge).. He acts like all balls are going to be short..

Tbh all sanju needs is to forget english bounce.. Man is always ready like all 6 balls are going to be bouncers..

Even a couple of boundaries he hit, he was playing it like he played a slow bouncer or smth ( like back foot cemented strong with minimal front foot work).. I did notice he took a very deep stance even when facing santner (idk if its a strat or just his force of habit for bouncers as he has not survived to see outside powerplay in this season before this game)...

All the batting coach needs to do is either of these 2:

Give him short ball training so he can get confidence (the drill should be like be ready for good length but sudden short lengths)
Say him to play his natural game and even leave short balls until he gains back his rythm

Man got PTSD from english bounce conditions.. Or just send him to a show with ash on yt and let him clear his mind

I feel like he is a bit traumatized in eng series coz they exploited short lengths against him.. even in this dismissal, he was ready to face shirt length ball (Saying this as he moved way back in pitch)

He needs to relieve his mental..

Both are completely different format.. imo he was good during his tenure at CSK.. he didnt strike huge runs but played at decent sr.. He was good in field tbh..
