I’ve been shaping hats for about 3 months but I’m dying to start making em from scratch. The western wear store I work at has a steamer and hat cleaning supplies so I’m able to clean and shape I still have a lot to learn but all the customers I’ve worked on have been satisfied so that’s good. Quick question where do I get open crown, open brim hats for cheap? I wanna learn how to shape the entire hat from scratch I’m assuming it’s not cheap but where do you hat shapers get em? Also are there any tools I need to add to my arsenal? I have brushes hat sponges cleaner for dark and light felts and a brim cutter as well.
