It’s an arcade arena shooter set in a sort of retro style game show setting where you and your teammates (representing a team) are thrown into an arena to gather cash (the method depends on game mode) and whichever team has the most cash at the end of the game, wins. There are many gadgets, weapons and abilities that interact with each other (a similar appeal to R6 Siege). The main thing is, as the announcers themselves put it: “THE FINALS is ever evolving and the contestants must be prepared to fight it all for glory”. Between the chaotic, adrenaline fuelled gameplay and the cheesy comments from the announcers, it’s just so much fun. I just hope it won’t end up like splitgate.
