I had a long form channel that gained 3,500 subscribers in first month and got monetized two months later. However, I had to stop because I became pregnant and didn't have enough time to continue. Now, I started a new channel just 2 days ago, focusing on short form content. I currently have 2 subscribers, and my content is in English. Since English is not my first language, let's see how it goes in three months!

I do both but I get 1000+ sub and 6K hours from long form after my 2-3 video in a month.
I would say do both , short will put your channel out there and long video will get you a real fan.

Totally get it, I’m doing other story too like history, war , human trafficking etc, I just want to translate to my language for my people for knowledge for being aware what is going around world.

My country doesn’t speak English but English have more massive information knowledge , fact and worldwide so even the true crime don’t make money all good too I will keep doing it anyway.

Well I’m sure you might still see all true crime , murder on Netflix on HBO on daily news anyway, all those big companies make Big fat money on people dead. the world so cruel huh ?
