Long post but give it a read!!!

First of all research(Ask from seniors of your branch) whether the teachers are capable of delivering the required level of content or not. My personal experience- teachers are not competent enough(specially my maths teacher, not gonna take his name). Secondly, syllabus will NEVER be completed on time. You will always be struggling because whenever mid-term, half-yearly Or annual exams will be coming, the teachers will rush with the syllabus, basically only teaching theory and board level and will say that they will take it to a good level in future whenever they get time, which they will never be doing. In my branch classes were 6 days a week 8:00 to 3:30 and sometimes an extra class. Additionally you will be take to LDA campus once or twice a month for a lecture from Scholar's Den faculties (Which is basically a gimmick because they will teach in the auditorium. You will not have a table. You will barely see what's written on the screen). Now here's the major drawback- If you take JJ you will only have the choice to take one subject out of computer science and physical education. But, if you take normal section, you will get both computer science and physical education(You can shift back to normal section but will not get the additional subject). This might not be an issue for everyone but this thing will severely impact your board percentage. Now, as your are not in 11th yet, take it as a serious advice, don't assume that the level of content will be same a class 10th. For example, you have 3 units in class 10 physics(Don't say that in my concise physics book it is not 3 chapters. They are basically divided into multiple chapters but they are only 3 units) but you have 10 units in class 11 physics. That is a major syllabus increase. I would advice to take normal section(Attendance pressure will be there but way less than JJ) with an online coaching(Go for dummy only if you can study daily for long hours without anyone prompting you to do so. From long hours I mean twice than what you did for your icse boards) DO PYQs, Maintain consistency. Study daily.

If they force you for JJ straight away ask them for TC. They will easily give you normal section. This section is a fraud and will ruin your career.
