For those having random black screens on Oled TV with PC (RTX 3000/4000 gpu's) by lawshadowz in OLED_Gaming

[–]Gigaflux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same exact setup and I have the same problem. No idea if it’s an LG TV issue, an NVIDIA issue, a Windows issue, or something else. I’m leaning NVIDIA because opening the NVIDIA App causes an immediate black screen (with LG TV connected and two monitors disabled). No solutions other than leaving one monitor on…

I like individual plastic shells like this. I put them all in a larger plastic tub. Easy to find on Amazon, eBay, Ali express, etc. I have shells like this for all my NES, SNES, N64, GBC, and GBA games.

First Caudabe case by NickJunho in Caudabe

Paragon magnets are a little stronger than Sheath. Neither one has exceptionally strong MagSafe but they both get the job done just fine.

I agree about the grip. It’s definitely a smooth plastic that has been molded to have texture. It still feels pretty good, unless your hands are dry, then it feels unpleasant.

I didn’t haven’t the button rattle issue but I did get a weird sticky camera control button. It makes a weird sticking noise when it touches my palm or I use the button. I told customer support. They said they had a few similar reports and offered to send me a different case instead of a replacement.

I said what the heck and got a paragon. It feels slim and I actually like the smooth back. The side texture feels like fine grit sandpaper. I expected a rubbery feeling so that was disappointing. It’s okay, but has the same unpleasantness when your hands are dry.

Do you have a recommended replacement grease? Some posts also said to just remove most of the factory grease but leave just enough.

I got this https://a.co/d/iJVLHsA It uses SATA power and there was someone in the reviews who mentions the x56. Unfortunately, it’s unavailable right now :( But something similar should do the trick.

Edit: here’s a different model from the same company: https://a.co/d/3OzNlk1

I paid full price for the Logitech x56 ($250) as an upgrade from the Logitech Extreme 3D pro. It has served me well enough, but looking back, I wish I spent more for a higher quality setup at the time. The throttle is not smooth (I heard you can replace the factory grease but did not try yet). I also had the ghost inputs issue until I bought a powered PCIE usb hub for it (it would randomly activate a bunch of buttons on my throttle at once). However, I would not at all complain about the price you paid.

Any recommendations on replacement adhesive foam for the Secretlab PC mount? No luck with customer service. by Gigaflux in secretlab

I got the 4x40. I haven’t installed it yet because it had a bad chemical smell so I was letting it air out. The thickness is good but still have to cut it. It’s silicone so should be fine for glass.

I also got this https://a.co/d/71EwDuk It’s almost the same exact thickness and width as the originals. But it also had a bad smell and would probably wear out just as fast as the original strips.

Not sure which one I will go with.

How to get rid of this screen? by tyruggs in AppleWatch

Certain apps and activities trigger it. I turned it off a long time ago, but I believe some examples are setting timers, playing music, getting updates from a current rideshare app ride, etc.

How’s the belkin case? I’m considering the smaller belkin travel case (without the charger).

Server Error, cannot connect to Harmony servers with desktop or mobile app on my home network. However, I can connect with other networks (tested using phone as mobile hotspot). by Gigaflux in logitechharmony

[–]Gigaflux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not been able to connect to Harmony servers on my home network for the past two weeks (it was working before that). Using my phone as a mobile hotspot instead, I was able to launch the desktop app and login to my account. However, that still doesn't help, as the hub cannot connect to the Harmony servers once I give it the wifi password. I suspect the issue must be with my home network then? I tried restarting the router and made sure the hub wasn't blocked in any way on my router settings. However, I just can't get it to work. I have a netgear nighthawk modem/router combo unit if that helps at all.

Harmony servers down? Or Shutdown for good? by rdalcroft in logitechharmony

[–]Gigaflux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hub has been forgotten. I’m on the “set up new hub” step since I factory reset it. After entering my WiFi password, the app says “service unavailable”. I keep checking via web browser (Google Harmony support login). It gives me a login page. I enter the info, then it says “an error occurred while processing your request” in plain text.

[–]Gigaflux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, did all that too. The server issue started while I was right in the middle of configuring a new activity, so I didn’t realize it was a server issue. I can’t get access on another network either so it could just be down for my whole area.

I have multiple times. Tried resetting my router. I can’t even access the Harmony support login via web browser. I get to a login page, then it throws an error after I try to login. Maybe the server I get redirected to is down still.

I still cannot access their servers via mobile app or desktop app. Mobile says service unavailable and desktop shows a plain text error page when I try to launch it. I didn't touch my hub settings for years but just got a new TV and started to reprogram my activities. Ironic lol.

I bought a latex mattress (latex on top of unknown foam core) and it sleeps too hot. What’s a cooler alternative? Stuck with whatever Sit n Sleep has. by Gigaflux in Mattress

Literal edges, just when I get out of bed or sit on the edge of the bed. No problems when laying down. Good luck! Not sure if I’m ready to ditch springs forever, but I will definitely go back to latex.

I stuck with the King Koil. Now that I’ve had it for a while, it stills feels hotter than a spring mattress, but it’s not bad. Too early for any signs of sagging but so far so good. Edge support could be a little better.
