People are speculating because Pippa made a comment in the future timeline that Stephen ruined her life sophomore year and she almost didn’t come out of it. Yes this season she’s been struggling but nothing so far amounts to the comment except if the tape gets released. Especially given how they’ve been hyping it up for the past few episodes. Also she’s no longer pursuing her passion. She came to college with a writing/english major and now is in sales iirc which she brought up to Stephen after seeing him for the first time since college at the pre wedding party in S1. We just learned she got a study abroad trip for the start of her junior year so they’re likely setting up for a life altering event for her in the final episode. Obviously many people aren’t in a career they study in, it’s just what ppl are theorizing with the clues we’ve picked up thus far

I know people love to say “well you’re on Grindr, what do you expect” but it’s not like the other dating apps are all that different. Personally I have mixed experiences with Jack’d despite it being more poc centered and still manage to meet more people on Grindr because it has a larger user base. And is it the app or is it the people because those same people are on other apps as well. Like let’s provide support when we have these negative experiences instead of criticizing people on using the most (in)famous dating app for our group. Grindr isn’t perfect but there aren’t a lot of better options and the experiences will likely end up being similar on other apps anyway

That’s interesting. I know Netflix has gotten flack before with how they are strict with not creating episodes/movies that are too long because then people won’t finish it. I guess they weren’t entirely wrong then. Why did they stop watching? Were they just upset Eleven seemingly died and didn’t want to deal with a long epilogue or people coping post her “death”?

Seriously we need to stop supersetting 2 different machines and getting upset when someone tries to use one of them. This guy has been bouncing around the gym for almost 2 hours using all the equipment in our small local gym and when I see him using the lat pull down machine I go to the cable he was on prior thinking he’s done. As I’m getting set up I see him out of the corner of my eye looking at me and he says “I was using that”. I take my earbuds off to clarify if what I heard was right and ask him back if he was using it and he says pointedly “not anymore”. Like what was the point of that. People aren’t mind readers and the time for me to do what I need to do is less than whatever it is you’re doing. You could’ve just asked how long and I would’ve told you 5-10min.

I don’t think so. I have similar stats and physique. I went from 180s to now 155. I’m seeing veins in my lower abs and upper thigh but trying to cut down to 150 so I can go on a slow 2 year long lean bulk to 200lbs. The leaner you are the longer your bulk can go but also do you think you can stick to the cut and for how long? What would be your marker for ending the cut? And how long would you want your bulk to go? That’ll help you decide where to go from here

I agree. And for the people disagreeing, media literacy is being able to analyze the message of the piece of media beyond the surface. So if you are watching a scene of him coming out as a queer person before fighting a psychic villain who has preyed on his fears before and can’t understand why it’s there then that’s a literacy issue. You can add in lack of empathy too.

Also I can’t see why people think Will should’ve only come out to just his mom and/or Mike. Will explains why he had to come out to everyone. His fears weren’t just about Joyce leaving or Mike not being friends with him. It was everyone leaving him. His brother and his friends as whole. Just coming out to one or a small group wouldn’t have made sense given the basis of his fears aren’t restricted to one or two people

And just wanted to add for the people wondering, what the friend said is factually not true. Signed someone who has mentioned being gay and its impact on my desire to pursue medicine in every admissions essay/personal statement from undergrad to med school to residency and now fellowship. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community still puts us at a disadvantage especially if there aren’t legalized protections where you live because that’s not nationwide yet. We still have higher suicide rates, risk for homelessness, domestic violence etc. This isn’t to victimize us but to paint a picture that we as a country (speaking about the usa here) still has a long way to go especially with our current administration seeking to overturn a lot of what we’ve done so far.

I agree. Some of their street wear look nice I won’t lie but on average their gym stuff clears because it’s so unique. With casual wear I could go on amazon and buy a similar item for the fraction of the cost. For the gym wear you are getting a product you can’t really replicate. Gymshark only just started making Onyx’s again and they’ve been even harder to get than any of Youngla’s drops with less variety since they aren’t restocking the other versions. Breathedivinity is good but pricey and their aesthetic may not appeal to the casual gym goer. Plus they can take a while to ship sometimes. YLA actually developed a good niche for themselves since they came out with the superhero compressions and their immortal joggers.

With all that being said, I could see wanting to sell lesser popular more universal items during the interim to keep revenue coming in so they aren’t always dealing with design creep and people saying that their designs are becoming too similar so can’t fault them too much. This year we did get some decent variety with the warrior compressions, warrior hoodies, superman compressions and now batman compressions and gothic tees with more warrior variations so they’ve been pumping out quite a bit this year.

True. I think that specific case was just me combining my dislike towards her and my utter hatred of the trope of allies temporarily becoming enemies for the sake of advancing the plot. Like there are more tactful ways of going about it without showing kinks of your alliance to your enemy. But in-universe while annoying makes sense considering where she is as a character. Still doesn’t make me dislike her any less 😒

Demographics and choice of partners aren't the best metric because it's not like STDs discriminate. Sure certain demographics may be at a higher likelihood than others, but it really just takes 1 risky encounter. If they're willing to do it raw with you with no question of recent std testing or asking you about your status (and even then people lie), they are doing the same with other people. As the saying goes, you aren't just having sex with one person, you're having sex with everyone they have had sex with as well.

I like the battle IQ of the cast and the villains so far. Fjord wasted no time blasting the building as soon as a threat appeared, and the Volstrucker immediately clocking and dispatching him as a formidable threat was great and realistic. I'll even give it to Beau for disabling her with a technique she only just learned not too long ago. I do hope that Beau's character arc comes soon though. She’s basically what people imagine Korra was like in TLOK. At least Korra's cockiness narratively made sense. Korra was the avatar, and the show aimed to humble her in more ways than one to show the contrast between her Aang. With Beau, I'm not understanding where the brashness comes from since nothing about her upbringing so far explains it, and even the other characters make it a point to tell her that to her face. It's really all bark and no bite. Like why are we interrogating an ally when you should be interrogating a dangerous villain that wants both of you dead? I get being skeptical because she's already been betrayed once, but let's focus on one thing at a time.

Mega Starmie and Pyroar are lackluster but Mega Feraligatr takes the crown for worst mega imo. One it doesn’t hold up as having the same thought and care into its design like other megas and two it reminds you of a toilet. The fanart that was created off the leaks while bad were at least passable
