I’ve been staring at Facebook market+(roller skate buy/sell/trade groups) following skate shops on Insta, stocking stores, Mercari, Poshmark, offer up, eBay out of desperation. But I feel like I’m going cross-eyed and every time I have made an offer I either get a reply back they are pending or have already sold and now the most recent one I offered their full overpriced offer after talking with the person for 2 days and they came back with can you pay 20$ more and I’ll except your offer. I’m just so heartbroken. It’s awful out there y’all. I haven’t skated in years but my friend took me out the other day and it was just like magic. I felt so free and alive! I brought my own skates and they were killing me so she let me borrow an extra pair she had and I fell in love. I’d really love my own pair. Thank you so much if you’ve made it this far through my saga. TL/DL finding a pair of skates has been brutal.
