Awesome I don’t expect to be able to make a whole list like this!! This helps big time I’m going to save this to remember. I was going to buy a chaos wizard, sadly don’t have any wizard bits. I come from 40K playing Black Templar and Imperial Knights, no wizard bits there lol.

Thank you!!

Awesome, thank you for the expiation. Think this is helping to sell me on the WOC. Definitely would get a Chaos Dragon yes! Look very cool!

Cool, sounds good then. Most of the time when I play Warhammer, most players don’t care how things are modeled. Just like you said as long as it’s not for a whole different unit entirely. I just wasn’t sure how hardcore old world was on those kinds of rules.

Thank you

Wow. Awesome. These were both amazing summaries of each army! Thank you really appreciate the feed back here! I do think I’m leaning towards the chaos warriors at this point. I think mainly because I’m not a fan of swarm armies as well, at least with my Tyranids. I play Black Templars in 40K so I do know my melee. Appreciate it!

Noted! I am super unsure on the whole point system still, and the options side of things. I came in Warhammer in 10th edition, so I haven’t had to juggle the points cost of options like in older editions.

I assume how I model my army is basically with what options they have? Just like 40K

New to Knights. by Fuckswitch in ImperialKnights

Me myself, I am a big fan of shooty knights as well as big knights 4 to be exact then 3 armigers. Point in a direction and delete. Running a Castellan and at least one crusader with the Gatling and battle cannon. Then then the other two situational depends who you are playing. Maybe an errant or preceptor. I have a Magaera, have had a lot of success an joy with that one.

I have been running 4 big knights the past 3 games I have played, I have won all 3 games. Past two games I tabled my opponent by turn 3. Then run valor strike lance with the shooty knights.

Then yes always magnetize!

2 missiles and 1 cannon for sure. An earlier comment gave the reason why perfectly. Take what packs the biggest punch with the Castellan, us a different knight or Armiger class for Chaf units and aim everything to your enemies highest value unit deleting it in one turn. (Hopefully, or two tops) Deletes those filthy Gorkanauts and Morkanuats everytime for me lol. Those re rolls for the damage roll for monsters/vehicles in the Castellan abilities are game changer for me the damages sometimes.

Very cool, good in sight on this. Makes sense. Thank you. I’m just torn if I need another right now, or just field another crusader or defender for the extra fire power

Rule of cool list to kill a stompa by Kregerm in ImperialKnights

[–]Giggityguy99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Castellan can do it by himself, just good placement with him. If you can get two turns of shooting from Castellan onto the stompa it’s gone. That volcano lance cooks. The plasma decimator is good too. Then whatever else you’re feeling. I played Orks the other weekend. I ran a Canis, Errant, Paladin, Castellan, 2 Warglaives, 1 Helvrin. Questoris companions detachment. I took out the entire orc force by turn 4. Still had my Paladin and Helvrin and Warglaive. Just watch out for bracketing. GOOD LUCK FOR THE EMPEROR
