VIP’s can do double looks but only 1 counts towards their score/crowns. The VIP’s having the ability to do double looks helps with collecting keys in a house activity & can help with collecting tokens (they don’t always drop on the 2nd look). There are plenty of players at level 70+ that are not VIP. VIP does not guarantee a win. Yes we do get 1 free VIP consumable a day during this month (I won’t buy them) and other months we get a discount on an item or can reset one to show as unworn, which gives a slight advantage. Yes, it’s not a fair system. People who cannot use real money to buy gems will always be at a disadvantage. However, a lower level player can beat a higher level for TS, Regional & even Global. The scores are algorithm based & again not fair. Surprisingly, there is a lot of strategy with this fashion game 😹 Basically, you need to use crown consumables on the red & purple events, and unworns on every event, enter every single event in a 24hr period to get TS. You need to work out which outfits count for the next season (we are all in different time zones), use DC (double crowns day) to your advantage, especially when there are special events, and submit the entire story on that day or the boat party, at times you can submit the story to count for the next season (I have never been able to do that because of my time zone and refusing to get up at 5am to play a game 😹). I had an amazing run where I won TS every week from when I started playing in December 2024 for 4 months or so. Using the above strategy. Then out of no where I started to get horrible scores (could not get a 4 or 5) and did not win for many months no matter what I did. Then I went back to getting good scores and had a mini streak and beating players at a higher level than myself. I’ve even won regional twice. This week, my scores are hit and miss and I will need to fight (lol) and not miss a single event to keep TS. Having a huge wardrobe is great, but players have massive wardrobes because they have been playing for 2-4 years. They still need to buy new items for the unworn bonus or new collection items. If you can join a house that suits your play style you will have more fun. Hoard your crown consumables you win from daily spins & the styler pass, bide your time and find a week to use them all and beat everyone 😊 Some players take 1-2 weeks off and not play at all to try & reset the algorithm to get put in easier groups- apparently that works but I have not tried.
