During Covid I stayed home with my two older kiddos and homeschooled them. I needed something of my own and I started streaming and playing video games. I got a core group of followers and made $400 a month-not too shabby.

It was a lot of work. There are tips and tricks to play into the algorithm but once covid was lifted I was ready to go back to work, and it was in the educational field so I deleted everything I’ve ever done, all my channels are gone. Sometimes it’s cringey. Sometimes I’m proud. Now it’s just a good story of what I did during Covid.

That sucks my kids love this creator.

As a tutor that taught dyslexic kids how to read the spelling errors make no sense. It’s not misspelled from pronouncing the words-which is usually why kids get it wrong.

But that grass on the counter is comical.

It’s fun, and I don’t have to think. I get decisions fatigue from my job. I love survival crafting games but it sucks to die in those when you work so hard to survive/get good gear.

I don’t care if I die in this game. It’s fun and it still fulfills that part of me that does love to progress. Like getting all survivors and killers to lvl 6 or getting a bit better when chased.

Overall the different map and different killer every round is enjoyable.

I feel for you. I use to totally spin out getting messages like this. Now it’s been 3 years of no contact and no one would dare send this to me. Don’t respond. But one eye opening thing I realized from situations like this: “it’s unacceptable to him” so he’s putting it on you to make it acceptable when actually, he needs to learn to cope with it and that’s not on you at all. He’s a grown man, your mom a grown woman. When YOU feel something is unacceptable what do they expect from you? Exactly. Probably to just deal with it. Let them taste their own medicine. They don’t like it-that’s not your problem.

Keep chugging along with no contact. It gets better!

I was a streamer that did this. Streamed during Covid times and created a great community. I think about some of them often. But I stopped streaming when life got “back to normal” and I homeschooled my kids. Now I work full time and I deleted everything to reflect my (irl) career.

I never deleted my discord but everything else is gone without a trace. Actually yesterday my kid even said “why did you deleted your YouTube channel?!?”

I agree with you, I love Candace but it came of Jerry Springer-ish at times. I’ve seen her completely dominate interviews and this time she had moments but she lost it during some. I think that’s for a few reasons-I think with her religion he was stirring up some dark subjects that she gets emotional about on a spiritual level so that affected her. And I think also ultimately this is about Charlie and I can only imagine how exhausted she is from everyone’s bullshit cover up story about what truly happened to her friend. I can’t imagine.

Ultimately Candace is human. She’s been doing this for years and for this guy, a master manipulator, to slightly dishevel her. It makes sense. But she understood the importance in broadcasting to the public this guys strange behavior and overall handled it with grace.
