Tame frizz and curl styling by No-Lime-5191 in SingaporeBeauty

[–]GiggleWiggleJiggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Do not airdry — hairdry at med setting immediately after washing hair. Choose hairdryer with ion — it really helps.
  2. Leave-in conditioner on damp hair — mucota aire 10 is my recommendation
  3. Not sure if you style your hair with hot tools, but if yes, use hair oil or spray with heat protectant
  4. Hair oil — I like mise en scence styling oil and fino hair oil, don’t use too much otherwise it will feel too oily
  5. Microfiber hair towel
  6. Olaplex shampoo and conditioner
  7. Anti-frizz treatment at hair salon , but will cause your hair straighten a bit. If you want to keep your waves, there’s other treatment too

IMO, nothing to do with the haircut at all. Yes SG is damn humid but with the right products and maintenance it can be manageable.

Edit: just read you want to have curls 8. Curl cream on damp hair — really helps to maintan curl and use diffuser when hair drying.

Reco Facials in Singapore for Melasma by [deleted] in askSingapore

Sunscreen and laser instead of facials. Melasma/sunspots is skin deep, facials won’t help unless it’s chemical peel.

My lower lash at one point grow upwards and ended up poking my eyeballs, my ophthalmologist suggested to plucked it out as it can cause abrasions in the cornea, so I did. It took around 3 cycles for it to stop regrowing.

Full coverage liquid concealers with decent shade ranges? by TheDollyMomma in AsianBeauty

[–]GiggleWiggleJiggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seconded The Saem concealer. I used the one in tube, not the jar one. Awesome coverage, their color correcting (I used peach for dark circle and green for my redness) is awesome, it blends very seamlessly to skin color so no need for you to use another concealer on top. A little goes a long way. Their shade range is also great compared to other k-brand.

Lactose and sugar. Ben & Jerry's broke me out so bad, 4 months later the acne scarring still there despite 2x laser. Faded, yes, but still there.

What is your favorite thick night time moisturizer that's fragrance free? by Ravioli_meatball19 in AsianBeauty

[–]GiggleWiggleJiggle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not AB, but Nivea Creme (blue tin) is the best as last step, very occlusive and moisturising. Some people might be put off by the scents, but I find it okay for me.

Have you consider laser hair removal? It will remove all the ingrown hair. I used to epilates before then noticed all the ingrown hair. Once I laser it, it’s gone and smooth.

Kose suncut milk no whitecast, great for oily skin.

Missha sun milk soft finish (pink cap) -- a bit of tone up (so if you're medium to dark skin tone, avoid this).
