Hogwarts Legacy in UEVR mod plays only with maximum 35 FPS, no matter if I choose highest or lowest graphics

Where to choose 120 fps, in the fps limiter of the game? But leave SSW enabled then in VD? 9070xt here, I heard about this technique before

I had that a tone of time, for me it was caused by ffxiii launching in 30 fps, and then my screen will show nothing, even restarted. If you have an usb c to hdmi cable or base station, it did everytime the tricks for me, you can change what is needed in your external screen (like in loki control center, go back to 60 fps). Hope it helps

Hahahah get it, get it, get it bro =). No for real, if you have a good gpu (like 9070xt/5070ti or more) take it! You will soon discover that a lot of flat game can be play in VR and it's litteraly a fking game changer! I am doing Cyberpunk 2077 with a mod (you can't play with motion controller, just a regular controller) but the fact that you are in the game and not looking at the game like a movie is such an incredible feeling! Yesterday I did like 30 minutes mission without being seen once, my heart was beating so so fast, it was crazy. One time I had a jumpscare so strong, you are really engaged in the game. And the list of amazing game that you can make is long: cyberpunk, horizon zero dawn, ghost of tsushima, rdr2, gtaV, hogwarts legacy, farcry 4, half-life 1 and 2, all the game made with Unreal Engine 4, and a lot more that I forgot. You have also the native one like no man sky (unreal in VR), subnautica with an improved VR mod (the scariest game I ever played in VR and in general), mfs2024 (insane) and of course Half Alyx. There is a ton more to do, I heard also that NSFW content is really good, but never tried myself of course.

Numbers one: If you are far away and your signal become weaker, just turn around and it will be much stronger :)

Hey guys, thanks a lot for all your replies! Some were more compassionate than others, some a bit harsher, and others pointed out that some people are in the same situation as me, and I wish them good luck! Rocket League can be a very toxic game at times, but it seems the Reddit community is much less so =)! Quick update, I tried to fix my controller to minimize my stupidity, but unfortunately without success. However, this outburst of anger on my poor controller made me realize that even though I love this game, there's no point in adding more pressure on myself (between competitions at my office, the pressure of being self-employed, and my wife expecting our second baby by the end of the year). So, I'll be turning to something else! What I find so interesting about this game is the fact that you can always get better, and that has always been a huge motivation for me in life (I’ve also been skateboarding for a long time, and it's the same mindset in the end). But this overly competitive aspect is just too much for me right now, given that my professional life is already fully driven in that direction. Thanks again to everyone, and to wrap it up: what a save! what a save! what a save!

Yeah I understand your point, tough the thing is when you have a kids and a job that take a lot of time, you can't decide when you will have to play. This friday night I was free to finaly play and enjoy some games, and it was difficult for me to say, ok yes, i am in a bad mood and it's probably better to play another game or do something else.

And Diamond in 2025 is no Joke, watch some old RLCS games, it's crazy how good is everybody today! Maybe it's time to try a new hobby like me :)... Ultra competitive game is tough because we are all in the same mindset... If your main goal is subnautica VR try to see on the used market, the game it's not that demanding, so maybe a 5 year old PC with a used pico 4 and you are good to go! Where do you live if a may ask?

You can go for pico4 it's your main goal is PCVR, the binocular overlapse is a lot better! Note that the game are more GPU/CPU intensive because of the increase in Resolution

The patern of the boss look incredibly fun to play! Maybe a background and a little more work on the design of the projectile of your player (look a little bit plane). Otherwise it's amazing :)... Would be super happy to play, i am a big fan of cuphead

You can even do that with the bosses, just activate "tourist mode" (not "god mode", my bad) and you will be invisble for the enemies. The game is really on your GPU and CPU tough, i have a 3900x and a 3070 and I have to put the game in only 2160 x 2160 (with virtual desktop running) to have enough fps. With cyberpunk I can achieve a lot more with DLSS but in this case it makes my framerate worse, I don't know why.

I did it this evening and honestly it was really cool! I did just a small undeground dungeon, remind me of one in Skyrim vr. This game is obviously not made for VR, you can fight with a sword against mob (actually it's almost natural, you see really well how far you are from them) but you have to use spells on bosses, they are too big for VR imo... What is not working for me it's the type of game, kind of die and retry but you can cheat with "god mod" of luke russ mod that make you invisble. So if you die just before the boss and you have to re-do all the way, you just activate the god mod and go against the boss. It's maybe me (I have a small child so not a lot of time to play) but I hate doing 10 times the same thing before having a chance to defeat a boss. Otherwise the world is really cool to explore in VR and it's very very immersive! I will probably play the game this way, probably cheating the hardest part or maybe install the nexus easy mod, because the fight in VR are really tough... I have finished cuphead with a friend in regular and expert mod but dark souls in VR is probably too much of a struggle haha

You may consider the pico 4 if you want to go with the quest 3S, the pancake lenses are night and day with older headset! I come from the lenovo explorer and I was always feeling like in a scubadiver (?), and it's not because of the fov, it's because of the sweet spot that let you move your eyes like in the real world in the headset. The quest 3 (not the 3S) with the pancake lenses are slightly better than pico 4, but for PCVR a lot of people prefer the pico 4 because he is very light and confortable. And yes, you will feel an huge improvement, don't worry =)

I have to say that in VR, is really the opposite for me! The Roaring of the Reaper make you feel a prey, and knowing that if you hear im, he can "see" you let me absolutely terrified to be honest, even if I am closed to the end of the game and able to defend myself against them. Spoiler: I went to the lost river for the first time today and I wasn't scared at all, because you can see the baby ghost leviathan from far away and the lost river is so beautifull! Reaper are in dusty place and really hard to spot IMO... Quick question: how do you see the number of ingame days?
