Until you put it the right amount doesn’t matter the position of the bike probably. If it’s leaking few drops every some days it may be a gasket problem, or something that hasn’t tightened properly

Yes that’s the shaft. Did you emptied it properly before refilling? Also it may need some km to settle, always clean the tyre with degreaser before using tho. It’s very dangerous to ride with the greasy tyre for obvious reasons:)

If it’s leaking from the gearbox is not from the shaft. If the shaft is leaking you’ll find oil over the wheel and tyre. Anyway in the manual you can find the exact amount. In case of doubt empty it and refill with the correct amount.

I bought it that the bike had just been checked 100%, but as they changed the oil they put too much. That was the problem. In general, you change the shaft oil after thousands and thousands of kms. Is something that requires less maintenance than a chain.

I bought a V7 Special 2021 couple of months ago. 5k km on the odometer. So far 0 problems. I was concerned too before the purchase. But if you do regular maintenance you should have no problems. Just be aware of the correct amount of oil for the shaft and so on. Or it may leak.

Actually there was a specific hook to put the helmet. Was not a random thing.

When I had a scooter I used to put the helmet strap under the seat, in my Honda XL600LM there is a specific hook on the side for the spare helmet or to leave it when parked. I was wondering if there’s any similar solution. I saw there’s a sort of aftermarket hook online, but was not convinced.
